This lantern is absolutely beautiful. It is heavy duty and made of metal. It takes minimal assembly. It comes with a remote. Apparently, the light only comes on by use of remote…not sure, because the instructions do not say. But they DO say to charge the lantern for several days prior to use. I am guessing that this light does not automatically come on whe it gets dark. No mention in the instructions.
So I charged it. And it does not work. The lamp does not come on.
Even though it is a pretty lantern, I cannot recommend it, because it does not work.

Our first reaction when unpacking this light is that it’s undoubtedly one of the nicest ones in our collection! It looks and feels like a much better quality and makes a beautiful accent piece. It even has a remote control! How handy!
Unfortunately, this is as far as my initial enthusiasm goes because after 2 days of trying, we simply can not get it to shine… 🙁 I’ll gladly update this review if anything changes, but so far, I have to assume some kind of defect.
