   Looks great and is a bit bigger than I had anticipated at 10″ square and right at about 12″ tall. Very nice looking and the structure of it is solid, not at all flimsy. It does add a very nice decor touch in an outdoor setting.
   The lamp arrived packed extremely well, however was surprised that pretty detailed assembly was required. The very brief instructions are included (pictured). You begin by placing the glass into each of the four side frames with four tiny screws and brackets for each panel. Not hard, but finicky. After that, you assemble the four walls of the lamp, this time with marginally larger screws and attach the base. At this point forward, the directions really don’t offer much in the way of understanding how to wire it, how to install the top onto the frame or what to do with the four large bolts provided. Included with my picture of the instructions is the remote – along with all the parts I haven’t found what to do with yet! Additionally, there is what appears to be a standard light socket to be wired at the base, not sure why, but fortunately the solar LED light (pictured) inside the top works perfectly well, so I will fiddle with the rest of it esp. attaching the top securely and see if I can figure it out because I do like the light very much.

   This is a truly beautiful lamp for outside, when you finally get it all together. The metal parts weren’t separated and the directions weren’t very clear on what went where, exactly. When you have different sizes of screws, that can be confusing as to what size should go where. Especially if you’re not familiar with putting things together, like this. Lol. The many different pieces all feel sturdy and high quality. I do wish now that I’d gotten the two lamps set as they are certainly more beautiful and stylish in person. The best part is that you have a choice of using solar power or a regular light source. And, using solar, there’s panel strips on all sides. Overall, I love this lamp and plan to get another soon.

   The directions for this light are not the best and some of the holes don’t fit properly. It is a cute light however.

   I think it would be a good look if you were replacing an existing light with power already there but it would be quite the undertaking to run electricity from scratch for just 1 light.

   We’re just treating it like it’s yard art and don’t expect much more than that from our solar lights as we live in the PNW!!!

   This Chinese style lantern is quite beautiful when assembled. It has two light functions a white light and warm light. It is also dimmable and comes with a remote. It requires assembly. The instructions are pretty much trash and doesn’t quite help but if you are intuitive you can figure it out. The light can operate on a hardwire bulb or solar power led. It doesn’t have a bottom cover either which I wish they could have provided. The all plastic enclosure is painted good to look like metal. I knocked it down a star because the holes don’t quite line up and the tab broke when assembling. It also the holes were not cut quite circular. I had trouble getting in some screws which were a bit tight. Well after an hour trying to assemble it in the end it looks pretty cool.

   This is a very nice solar post light with a very charming design if you like Asian decor. I put this light in the middle of a garden and it’s right at home. You should be aware that this light is much larger and much better built that the common plastic post light. These are a combination of aluminum and plastic, and are much heavier. It should also be noted that these do require some assembly. The assembly isn’t difficult really. Just a few screws and nuts to keep an eye one. Overall I am very satisfied with the design and performance of this light. One thing I do not like though is the price. This light costed $70 at the time of this writing and I feel like that is asking too much. If the value were better, I would recommend this item. It’s a good light, I just think the price should be more reasonable.
