They really do look like electric fireplace flames but in a solar sconce. Their output is more for affect than for providing lighting. Just what I wanted. My old ones rusted out so being plastic is an upgrade. My only dislike is the provided screws for attaching the sconces are visible & prone to eventual rusting because they are right on top, not hidden behind.

I own a couple other solar torches and sconces etc and these are right in line what what I expected them to be. Plastic build but some heft to them. Not cheap. The flames, while not perfect I think will look good from a distance. No complaints at all. Would recommend them
