This new is one solid, heavy duty solar light. So nice to have an outdoor light that is actually made of metal and glass and NOT plastic! For this reason alone, it’s worth the money. The solar panel is definitely a high quality. I love the choice of lighting – warm white, fluorescent white or a combination of both colors which is he setting I chose…..easily changeable with the remote control and not having to fiddle around in the dark. The height of this light is really perfect….not too short and not too tall.
My only complaint is it didn’t come with instructions. During the assembly (which wasn’t too difficult), I had to unscrew the light assembly to remove the bubble wrap inside the actual lantern. When screwing it back together, the glass cracked =( USE CAUTION during this process, so it doesn’t happen to you too. I understand why they packed it with bubble wrap….otherwise the glass could have rattled and cracked during shipping.
Otherwise, it’s a beautiful, classy looking outdoor light. I would definitely recommend despite the high cost.

This bad boy is still lit up every morning when I get up for work at 4am! It doesn’t always get direct sunlight, so we’re extra impressed.
We have a big backyard (over half a football field) and so we have tested out many solar powered lights. This light, is by far, the nicest one on our property. It is super solid. It casts a big, beautiful, bright halo of light all around it. Yet the light isn’t overwhelmingly to bright or a strain on your eyes.
All of the pieces are solid too. Very nice quality feeling metal and glass. I’d buy these lights again in a heartbeat if I needed more.
I took one star away because the soldered metal grid design is not perfect. There is extra metal that is a bit too notifiable when lit up at night. It doesn’t bother me enough to not want more!
