I live in Wisconsin and have had three of these lights up for the summer. I am writing this review at the end of October as our days get shorter as I wanted to give the lights a chance. These lights are on the south and east side of my house. The light on the east is on from dusk till dawn right now, the south facing one goes off an hour or so before dawn on occasion. I will be purchasing several more of these. The box comes with a template for spacing the two screws that the light hangs on making it a real quick install.

Reason 1:
They last for years. I purchased the first model and years ago and now the batteries are finally getting weak.. Not bad.
Great light pattern, quality of light. Heck with the LED numbers game….they just provide the lighting without the issues of others that stop working or bad design and quality control. I purchased Litcom lights and 2 of the four already don’t work at night. Hated the hardness of the light too, if that makes any sense.
Reason 2: A big one. Where are you going to find the manufacturer in the U.S. that will actually speak to someone who can help you? A really tech support person for a product like this?
Reason 3: I hated passing cars causing them to light up, so extended distance is not necessarily a good thing. eLeding lights have sensitivity control as well as duration after the light is activated. That is most important, otherwise, the battery will drain so quickly.
