   This is a really nice lamp that you can use indoors or outdoors. But its a solar lamp so we decided to leave it outside so its always ready to be used and energized by the sun. It is nice and light and easy to use. Very helpful for evening bbq’s. The kids love using it as a flashlight. It has different brightnesses and is controlled by a button on the lamp. It also can be charged by the sun or by USB. And it has a hidden area at the base of the lamp that you can store things inside. Its a pretty cool lamp for all ages.

   This is a fun little lamp! It’s solar, it’s a light, it’s a grow light, it’s a wee planter. It’s a simple lamp to put together and it can do so many things.
   When in use it’s a nice little lamp for indoor or outdoor. It’s minimal and unobtrusive.
   I like that if you don’t want to use it outside you can just charge via USB.

   I really like this little lamp. You can charge it with the supplied USB cord or leave it out in the sun. It has 2 brightness settings and unlike many other similar portable lamps, the bright setting gives enough light to read and write by. There is also a colored setting if you wanted to use it as an accent light (I guess). But since it doesn’t require being plugged in to use, I grab it any time I need some light. I use it a lot when I want to eat or write on our living room coffee table while I’m watching TV.

   The rod was hard to screw into the base. Note that if you want to use it as a planter you have to remove the base cover before attaching the rod. At first I couldn’t get the light to work, the on/off switch did nothing. I re-read the directions which say you have to pull off the plastic tab, which I couldn’t find. It also said there would be a red/green battery indicator, which I couldn’t find. I pulled the top piece apart looking for the plastic tab, didn’t find it, but found that the on/off switch wasn’t in the right position to connect with the interior switch. I put the 2 pieces back together positioning it so the on/off switch connected and then the light went on. Success! Only problem is that now I can’t plug the charger cable in because the input for the cable is now in the wrong position to connect to the interior charger. Disappointed. Will still use the base for a seed starter. Keep in mind that since this is solar ideally you want to use it outside and that’s fine when using it as a light. But the planter area is very small and I’m not sure what type of outdoor plant would be appropriate for it.

   I like to use this lamp for reading outside in the evenings. The quality is good and it provides plenty of light. The solar charging function works well, and the lamp is lightweight yet sturdy. Plus, it looks cute! Definitely recommend!
