Bought these lights to set up on my eave trough over my patio door and replace some 5 year old ones that were weather worn. These lights are bright and I have bought a second set for the cottage. The only problem was that a few of them needed the battery re-seated before they could work but no big deal.

I had it installed on the Front and it looks good seeing from little far (that’s what people see ;). You will notice the glow and shape of the light in complete dark (evening time it doesn’t look as good). Installing it more higher than I have I don’t think it will have any impact, will work upto the height of 9-10’, but the lower the better. The pic is taken from across the street around 10pm.
This review is for the people who are confused like I was whether it will work or not, so get an idea from it 🙂
(The middle light between garages is a sensor light and it is set to 15% brightness during recording and pic time).

These light go off after 2 to 3 hrs from dust. Fisrt few days they were good n bright. As time went these lights were not powerful as they were in first month. I cant return them for simple reason, I shall have to get them uninstalled. In nut shell I am not happy with these.

The light produced is excellent bright white. However, the mounting bracket/screws started showing signs of rust after only a month. The panels tend to collect deposits. Have had these for a little over a year and some do not charge as well because of the buildup on the panels.
Revised 2/26/23: Not long after I submitted my review, to my surprise Solplex contacted me to try to resolve the issue. They provided excellent communication and very satisfactorily took care of my problem.

6 of them worked great on my Electric Gate for 1 year, now there light output is only 15% of what is was. YES, i cleaned the solar panels many times with no luck. Now there on for only 1 hour at 15% light output. They were on for 8 hours before at full light output. Bummer…

These are a great addition to our home. I always used to leave the porch light on, but now the sun can charge these. So far they stay on the whole night. The only complaint I have is they do not secure to the gutter satisfactorily due to the shape of my gutter. It is not their fault and i can send them back if i want. Every now and then I have to rotate them to get the right angle for charging, but for me it is worth it. They are beautiful and light up my house. I live in the country so it is pitch black dark….until now.

I have dozens of outdoor solar lights. Some are photo-optic, motion sensor and wired. Part of those is a16 Pack of Gigalumi Outdoor Lights. Our 50 pound pitbull mix puppy, Little Miss Daisy Mae Wigglebutt Higgins, likes to spent a lot of her outdoor time in a peppermint patch alongside a chain-link fence. At night it’s difficult to see her there. Of the 6 lights that came with this set, I mounted 3 on top of the fence for Daisy. The remaining 3 are scattered about. The installation was easy but required some engineering on my part by adding 1 zip tie to mount securing to the fence top horizontal pole. That pole is too large for the included hardware, so the zip tie was an easy solution.
So far so good, they are perfect for the areas they’re in. The perfect amount of light without being too bright.
They last all night. If/when the time comes to replace the rechargeable battery, it will be a cinch.
