These lights came in a very secure package. They look marvelous and work like a charm. They come with two different size mounting brackets but both are bigger than a 4×4 wooden post. Since I was mounting on a wooden post, I cut a 1/4″ thick board the size of the mounting bracket and screwed that on top of my post which then allowed me to mount it securely on the post. On my other fence I let the post rise above the fence 4 inches and decided to just use longer screws to mount the whole light and bracket into the post. They are just as secure as the one I cut the filler piece for. Either way they mounted very easy. At night when the sun goes down they light up and look like floating flaming candle globes above my fence. I love them.

Started working outside, since it has been nice out. I tryed out some cheap flickering lights from the local hardware store, we liked them, i saw these cap lights here, i decided to buy them the first night they were on all night. I have a lot of tree coverage, solar lights dont normally work well but for some reason these do after about a week they are on till about 2:30 am, with the trees and it was cloudy for two days straight they still came on when the other flickering lights did not. I am satisfied with these lights. If i would have replaced the other cap lights it would have cost four times as much as what i paid for these.

Liked the product so much I bought more.I bought 28 of them and they all worked. There were two I had to tap a couple of times the first night and now they have worked flawless ever since. My only grip is that I wished they came with a little longer screws to ensure a more snug fit.

I have these for about a month on my backyard patio that only get a few hours of direct sunlight. These guys go on at dusk and are still working at 6 AM. Easy to install. The flickering flame effect is excellent. The crackled glass globes are nice and thick and went through a couple snowstorms unscathed. The price was very good in my opinion. Pleasantly surprised and impressed.

I would have given these 5 stars because they are beautiful. They are accent lights so they are not too bright. Just perfect for the ambiance that I wanted to achieve. However, I had to knock off 1 star because of inconsistent quality. I bought these multiple times. One shipment had a loose globe while two other shipments contained globes that had very obvious LED lights in them; they looked more like Christmas lights than flickering flames. It helped that npcpsolar.com has easy returns.
