I bought 4 of these a few months ago to see how they would hold up while lining my driveway. They definitely are bright for the first few months but eventually they dimmed out. Unless you replace the batteries they eventually will not be as bright as when they first came out the box. I did like how they were easy to set down and forget it. I just lay them right on the ground and they withstood the weather and even a few times i ran them over and they survived my minivan tires. They charge right up and turn on automatically at night and stay on most of the night so we can see our way doing to the garage. I bough a second set to replace the last 4 because i wanted brighter lights.

I ordered 4 of these to try in our recently renovated backyard garden amongst our trees, flowers, and statuary. I tried staking them into the ground but the plastic stakes just bent so I took the stake off and just sat them on top of the mulch. Even with the torrential storms, we have had they didn’t budge. We loved them so much I immediately ordered 4 more and once they arrived we decided we need another 4. Along with 2 lanterns outside, they have totally transformed our backyard. We love looking out the windows at night and seeing the beautiful glow of these lights. You simply cannot go wrong buying these. They are so beautiful! Update #2. I replaced the batteries in all 12 lights. 5 of them are still working but the rest all died within 1-2 days. I don’t have high hopes that these will make it either. I would not buy again. They are not waterproof. If you live in super hot climates like we do in Texas apparently the heat can crack the lens and once that happens water will get into the unit. The unit is toast at that point. I love the look of the lights so I will look for some others to replace them with but I wouldn’t recommend these again. I couldn’t figure out how to reach the company but I did go through npcpsolar.com and I have to say their customer service is worth 5+ stars.

Product was easy to install, exceptional brightness for the price, and looks great on our driveway. However, out of the two packs that I purchased, one was defective out of the box. I’ve contacted the seller twice via email and no definitive response or solution to this problem. It is very disappointing because we take great pride in our landscaping and can’t do so because of this defective product. Other than that, I would purchase this item again except just not with this seller.
UPDATE: The seller graciously sent us a new light free of charge and we couldn’t be more happy and satisfied. Our driveway is complete! After our initial email exchange, the seller followed up a few times even without any correspondence from me and still sent one out. This shows the level of professionalism the company has and exceeds expectations. I would definitely order from this seller again!
