Bought this in the winter so stored in my garage. Just put them out today in full sunlight for about 8 hours. Tonight checked them and only one was working. Checked the switch and any sign of loose connection but could not find anything. These are pricey and for one not to work is a waste of money. I hope mfg reads this and I can get a replacement.

Save your money! Cheap cheap cheap! npcpsolar.com, you should be ashamed to sell this on your site! The photo is deceiving. The hummingbirds are not etched into the glass of the lantern instead, it is a cheap plastic decal that doesn’t even fit all the way around the jar! Also, there is no way to anchor it. You would have to tape it on the back of the jar where the ends do not meet. The only reason I did not send this back is because I sent it to Flordia to my mom for a Christmas present. She is using the jars without the decal. I am extremely disappointed in this purchase!

Received the product quickly. The lamps were simple to ‘assemble’… just carefully unravel the light strings – but they are delicate, so be patient. Only one of the lamps worked after both were charged fully. The supplier responded to my contact with an offer to resolve, but I had already figured out that the battery was no good. I replaced it with a new one (simple process), and the lamp now works fine. So far, both lamps stay lit overnight – which is quite impressive. Other solar lights have turned off after a few hours. The light is quite subtle, but I bought them as accents, not a light source. I’m very pleased with the product – it deserves 5 stars, but due to the dead battery, I gave it 4.

These came in on time and packaged well. They are pretty much exactly as they are described in the ad. I like them and have them out on the back deck for a few weeks now. The are not in an overly bright area of the deck (they are under a pergola) but so far they have been recharged during the day for about 4 – 5 hours of light in the evening / night. Im sure that would probably be longer if the lights were in direct sunlight during the day.
The only flaw, and I do not understand how this happens, is that after a rain, there is water inside the jar. The lights still work as only the string of the LED lights are in the water – not the actual electronics – but with the lids securely attached, and the lights standing upright, I just dont get how the water seeps into the light itself. I just empty the jars out after the rain and let them dry out a little so as to not allow mold, or anything to grow inside the jars.

One of the jars works just fine, however the other jar only lit up a little for two days and then didn’t work. Put in a new battery and it started to work but when cover replaced it stopped lighting up. Tried several times but still wouldn’t work. It had rained and put jars filled halfway up with water. Had to empty out.
