   I really wanted this to work, the 1st one quit after a week even though it was in a location with Ample exposure to the sun. The Vendor issued a replacement which lasted nearly 2 weeks- I brought it inside and now it pops on every few minutes- randomly. I’m going to have to send this one back too 🙁 Today was the 1st day it was rained on, so disappointing that it couldn’t even manage 1 rain- I would Love it if only it actually stayed lit.
   UPDATE: Now I have been through 3- the Vendor sent me a 3rd without requiring me to send the 2nd one back and now I possess 2 that only last a Max of 2 nights- I have to alternate them, keeping 1 indoors beneath the plant grow light to switch them out- it’s been a total of 6 weeks and honestly a Waste of $$$, 1 of them does not shut down when you drive up with your headlights on so you’re blinded, the other 1 does not intensify by Motion so only shines dim – and NEITHER 1 Work as Described- not at all what I thought I was buying.
   If you want a Security light that actually works THIS IS NOT IT, MOVE ON.

   It works great. Bright enough on Dim mode to see slightly around it. Bright once motion is detected. I put two of them up at the front driveway gate with one on both sides of the gate. Makes it nice to have some light at the street/gate area. Installation suggestions: Suggestion 1) Do not turn it on (button under the solar panel) until it is charged in bright sunlight for 5 or more hours. If cloudy, please charge a 2nd day or two. Do not push the button at all, until it has been installed and charged by the sun. Suggestion 2) Install the base first if installing it to a wall or wooden post otherwise you can not get your screwdriver on the two base’s screws because the main device is in the way (install the base to your wall or post first). Suggestion 3) Do not push the power button at all until it has been fully charged at least 5 sunny hours, but only push it once to set it to DIM at night, BRIGHT upon motion detected (bright on for 30 seconds). They give you two extra screws: one extra base screw to the wall/post AND also one extra screw that holds the base to the main device. That is nice incase you drop one.    VERY DISSAPPOINTED IN THIS PRODUCT. USEFUL AS A LANDSCAPE LIGHT BUT BASICALLY USELESS AS A SECURITY LIGHT. THERE IS NO MODE THAT ALLOWS IT TO GO FROM NO LIGHT TO FULL BRIGHT LIGHT. THE LIGHT MUST STAY ON ALL NIGHT. MOTION DETECTION THEN HAS THE LIGHT GO SLIGHTLY BRIGHTER BUT NOT VERY NOTICEABLY BRIGHTER. ALSO THERE IS NO WAY TO ADJUST THE TIMER OF THE MOTION DETECTION WHICH TURNS THE BRIGHTER LIGHT ON. IT IS FIXED AT 60 SECONDS. ALSO, THE GROUND POLL IS TOO SHORT. CANNOT ADJUST LAMP OVER SMALL BUSH. ITS BASICALLY A SIDEWALK OR GROUND PATH LIGHT NOTHING MORE.
   Adendum: Replacement Review” Emaner replaced ther origional order with a different tyle of lights that does in face have the Security light mode (Senson mode) that turns the bright light on from Dark or off position to maximum light. That is what I wanted and it works fine, so I now retract my negative review as lonf as you make sure you get the lights that have a sensor mode, if you want security lights. I have changed the rating to 5 stars from 2 stars. I thank Emaaner for the excellent customer service.

   I had purchased this company’s other solar outdoor lights and found them to work very well, and on that basis purchased this newer light. It works intermittently although it is always fully charged. I have tried the different modes to prolong the length of time the light will remain on, but even when it starts out fully lit, it invariably shuts off and will not relight.
   Compared to the earlier models which I am quite pleased with, this appears less reliable.

   I am adding an amendment to my original review because after I posted it, Amy quickly contacted me to offer an explanation of an issue the company was having with the light and offered me a replacement with the older model I had praised. I was pleased to learn of this company’s integrity both in their explanation and taking responsibility through their offer.

   We have a 6 foot fenced in yard for our five dogs. It is a very large area, encompasing our triple lot. We wanted a decently lit yard for evening potty runs, and we tried multiple solar lights to get the desired effect. These lights offer, by far, the brightest and widest beam of anything we tried. We are on the Florida Gulf Coast and had two lights staked in the ground through both hurricanes we just experienced. They stayed in place during our 80-100 MPH wind gusts, stayed on throughout the storms, and still work perfectly. Because they were solar, my husband was able to keep track of any damage to our yard, fence, pool, etc. even after we lost power. These lights are everything they are advertised to be and more!

   Works oaky I need more of a flood light not a spot light. Purchased July 27, 2022 the batteries no longer hold a charge. To make it worse the batteries can not be replaced.

   I received the solar security light over a month ago Initially I set it up on the ground stake until I could ascertain that the motion sensor was going to work as described. It does and I am thrilled. I have now installed with screws into the outside frame of my patio. I have a large wooded area behind my property and have a problem with raccoons. The motion sensor has adjusted into “bright” mode every time a raccoon has entered the yard. Otherwise the light stays at a “dim” level which affords enough light to see around the patio. Totally happy with this purchase
