   The product manufacturer has poor quality control at the assembly point. Three of the Four Solar Light (Lens) as they call the part had the glass tabs broken/chipped making the Lens difficult to remove from the Top Hat assembly. This damage may also pose a hazard to the user possibly causing injury from the broken glass lens tabs. Also, one of the units had the battery unsecured floating around in the Lens assembly possibly causing damage to the LED Element. The LED Elements are questionable concerning brightness and it should be noted that the batteries are at 100% charge. I noticed the LED Element is bright on one side and dim on the other side. I don’t believe that this is normal operation. I contacted the seller via email that was listed with the documentation explaining the issues and have received zero response. I will give the seller a few more days to respond back to me and if I don’t hear anything I will return the items back to npcpsolar.com for a full refund. None of the problems listed here are considered npcpsolar.coms fault. It can be clearly seen that this is a manufacturer assembly point issue. I do not recommend purchasing this product based on my current experience. I will update this review pending hearing back from the sellers customer service department.

   We liked these so much that we ordered two more sets. The lights are sturdy, easy to put in and/or move, and very bright. One provides sufficient light for our short sidewalk. I was concerned that the charge would not last long enough. Not a problem! When I get up in the morning, the lights are still on for a couple of hours.

   Ordered 2 boxes. 1 light didn’t work in each.

   For the one light I played around with the bulb and got it working eventually. The other one doesn’t work at all. Rest work fine.

   Easy installation. Look good and so far are lasting from dusk to dawn unless the day before was mostly cloudy and they don’t get to fully charge. The only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is because of what I would call a construction deficiency. The top of the stake that the post attaches to has a plastic piece held in place with a screw. The screw should be at least another 1/4 inch longer as it does sufficiently engage the stake. I bought 8 lights total and on three of them, the screw would not tighten enough to keep the post tight and fully upright. I had to buy longer screws to keep the lights upright and keep them from wobbling.

   I bought 18 of these SOLARPATHF2 lights in April/May, when I first placed them in the ground, I was thrilled. They were bright, I really liked the pattern that they put on the ground, and the overall look of the housings were awesome. Well now…5 months later, they don’t even stay bright for 2 hours! I am bummed. At first they lasted for 8-10 hours, now not so much. Today was a bright sunny day in Southern California, and the lights get sun all day. I guess the batteries just don’t last. Again, not happy! My neighbor has similar lights of a different brand and they are still bright when I leave for work at 4am…mine are out. Now I have to replace them after only 5 months.

   I am so happy with these Newhouse Lights. I placed three of them in the front flower/shrub bed. They give out strong light and are so pretty. The metal stakes on these lights are far superior to the hard plastic stakes on my other path lights. These lights are ‘very’ easy to push into the soil. 🙂 🙂

   These are the best pathway lights every. Mine are still awesome after many years of use. My neighbor just purchased these lights because they are so bright and a nice size. However, they are yellow warm light. I sure would buy several sets of these again if they were made in cool white light.

   These are a better value than most solar stake lights (which is not saying they are cheaper- you get what you pay for). The clear dome is glass, not plastic, and the stake that goes into the ground is metal , not plastic. The rechargeable AA battery is easily accessed should you ever need to replace it down the road. The LED used is not a tiny LED bulb but a bigger filament style bulb. The light output reminds me of the light output of old corded garden light sets I had years ago.. it really lights the paths at night.

    These lights are attractive and functional. I am pleased with the warm lighting projected— None of the artificial blue that many other LED lights project. In addition, the glass globes enhance the quality of these lights. These lights are very simple to assemble. No more messing around with low voltage landscape wiring and frequent bulb replacement.
