Originally I’ve ordered these solar lights for our rather dark driveway, but we will end up using them to decorate our little garden path around the house. The driveway will require brighter solution. It is surprising how well these lights hold the energy collected throughout the day – they stay on all night long without dimming. The kaleidoscope style light-print is very pretty, gives a dreamy, fairy tale feel to our tiny garden. I cannot determine how long they will last, but they seem sturdy made, and I expect they will bright up the back of our house for a long time. We are very happy with them.

Get them! They are so easy to put together, only about 10 min including installing in ground. It’s says to wait 48 hrs for solar to work but it worked immediately for me. So pretty! What a great price. Get them. I ordered some for my mom too.

The solar light charged up fairly well in just one day of full sun. It has a nice pattern that somewhat resembles sun rays or maybe a clock. I put one in the middle of a glass table on my deck and it made a neat pattern through the textured glass. The light dispersion is pretty wide, but it’s not too bright. That would be my knock against it. Each light in the box came with a pre-installed rechargeable battery. Each only takes one. The post is easy to attach. I’m interested to see how long they last. It’s hard to tell in my photo, but I put this solar light next to a post light which was mulch brighter.

These solar lights work well as decorative lights for your yard. The design of these lights give off a decorative geometrical light pattern that will shine on the ground.
The solar charge duration was limited. I charged these lights on overcast days and on direct sunny days. The lights came on at night but they did not shine as long as some other rechargeable solar lights that I have in my yard. The light was also not particularly bright so I wouldn’t use these lights to brighten a dark area of your yard. However, they would work very well, within their limited light duration, to highlight an area of your yard.
