   These solar powered LED fence and wall lights are pretty ubiquitous, but this one stands out as using only 1 LED bulb which helps it use less power and giving it a true dusk to dawn run time. Other solar lights have 2 or even 4 LEDs, but it’s really not necessary to have more LEDs with the trade off of not being able to last through the entire night, especially when I have cloudy overcast weather that limits how much charge it gets during the day. At night when your eyes are adapted to the night vision, this this light is plenty bright to illuminate a walkway and throws the beam quite far. The plastic housing is pretty sturdy and seems well built, solar panel is a pretty tough glass that feels like it’s resistant to scratches. Nice that it comes with a mounting guide to know how far apart to stick the screw holes.

   These are nice accent lights. If you have enough of them, you can light a path, etc. I got them to add a little style to our chicken coop. Light goes on automatically when it gets dark. The only thing I don’t really love about these lights is the installation. I would prefer two screw holes that go through the fixture instead of one screw bracket on the back. If you don’t get the light installed perfectly, it can rotate and become unlevel.

   Rather than using them as fence post lights, I chose to use mine as lighting for my front porch on either side of the landing at the top of the stairs. They get plenty of light from the early morning sun which is quite plentiful here in Tucson, AZ. Installation was very easy with the included template for positioning the screws in the precise location for uniformity, something I wish more products included in their packaging. I rely heavily on solar powered lighting due to the amount of abundant sunshine in Arizona, not to mention the ease of installation since no special wiring or power sources are required. I’d definitely recommend these for added safety as well as for decorative lighting to any home exterior.

   I was a bit surprised at the diminutive size when they arrived and the box they came in was so small then likewise, they were smaller than expected. Then I gave them a charge and hit the on / off button on the bottom (nice that it’s covered with a rubber gasket so water tight) and no worries about the smaller size! Plenty of efficient LED light. There is a magnifying lens of sorts in front of the bulb that does a good job of spreading the light out evenly, but also amplifies or intensifies the light if that makes sense. Lumens are lumens of course, but the magnifier is a good design feature I think and am glad the manufacturer included that in the fixture. There is one lesser aspect to the light that it doesn’t stay lit throughout the night where the internal battery illuminates the LED for around five hours. That may be a limitation of the once again small size of the unit so how big a battery will physically fit into the case, but also, it could be where I’ve got the lights installed that they are not getting full sunlight onto the solar cell for very long to give a better charge before night time. SO you’re mileage may vary with that, but thought I’d mention it none the less!

   This set came with two solar fence lights. They were a bit smaller than I expected when I opened the box, but they ended up working just fine for my needs. I was looking to add a little light to a small path, and these do the trick. Despite their size, the lights give off a nice soft glow that makes the walkway visible at night without being too bright or harsh. They charged up quickly in the sun and automatically turn on at dusk, which is exactly what I was hoping for—no need to mess with timers or switches. If you’re trying to light up a larger area, these might not be powerful enough, but for accent lighting or small paths, they’re a solid choice. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and may order another set if I decide to extend the lighting further down the path.

   These Solar Powered LED Lights are easy to install with instructions and screws/anchors included.
   For their small (2in x 3 in) size, they cast a relatively wide light. A prism effect creates a rainbow edge where the light’s half circle is cast.

   They’re not tremendously bright, but enough to illuminate steps to prevent trips or falls. For the current list price of 2 for $10, they are a good value.

   These are much smaller than I thought, but they’re still pretty great. The light is definitely good enough to light a path and make it comfortable to walk in the dark. It was super easy to install and even came with instructions though they weren’t very necessary. The lights have stood up to a few pretty rough storms since I installed them, so they’re relatively durable. The battery is pretty solid too. Even on stormy days, it can usually get through the full night! Overall great product, but they are a bit smaller than the pictures make them seem.

   I decide to use the GBEAST Solar Fence Lights a little different than expected. I wanted to create a downlight for a tree we have. See pictures. The GBEAST Solar Fence Lights are very well made. The product is clearly a step above what I’ve seen before. The case, switch and light are all high quality. So I installed them with the provided screws to one of our trees. They work great. The light cast is warm and not artificial looking. The light is bright and consistent. Loving how well they light up the tree.
