   We are spending a lot of time and energy making our backyard into an oasis with flowers and a new deck and green house. As there are currently zero electrical connections in the yard at present, having brigth string ligths for outdoor dining was proving to be difficult. We have fairly lights and firework garden lights, but really wanted something overhead that actually lit up the deck. Had been running an extension cord to a plug-in set, but with this 50′ solar string a solution has been found.

   This string of lights has plastic bulbs so reduced breakage and they put out considerable light just with the solar panel collector. Have them strung in a zig-zap via metal light poles and the solar panel cord runs down to the ground. We are very happy with these lights and would order more if we expand the light string across the yard.

   I recently purchased the DAYBETTER 50ft Solar String Lights for my backyard, and overall, I’m very pleased with them. The warm white glow (2700K) creates a cozy ambiance, perfect for evenings outside. The lights are bright, energy-efficient, and easy to install using the included stakes and hooks. I also appreciate the waterproof design, as they’ve held up well during light rain.

   However, I’m giving four stars instead of five because the distance between the last bulb and the solar panel is too short. The cable should be longer to allow more flexibility in placing the solar panel in direct sunlight while still positioning the lights where I want them. As it is, I had to compromise on either optimal sunlight exposure or ideal light placement.

   Despite this small drawback, these solar string lights are a great addition to my outdoor space and provide lovely illumination without increasing my electricity bill. If the cable were extended, they’d be perfect!
