This pole lamp looks great once installed. The glass adds a subtle, stylish touch without being over the top. Installation was simple, and changing bulbs later will be just as easy. It feels sturdy and well-made, and the waterproof, anti-rust design makes it a solid pick for outdoor use. The built-in photo sensor is a bonus, automatically turning the light on at dusk and off at dawn. A nice upgrade for my porch.

I was very much expecting a solar lamp. Had planned on placing it on a table on my deck. Was shocked to see that it wasnât solar. Looking at reviews, see that Iâm not the only one who expected a solar lamp. The listing now says over and over that itâs not solar and is hardwired and thatâs so obvious now donât think I could have missed it. I donât have a spot or a post for a hardwired light and certainly wasnât going to hire an electrician. At first I thought this was my mistake but now after reading othersâ comments and the listing again not sure it was my mistake.

The vintage style of this post light was what sold me on it, but I was surprised by how well crafted and assembled it was. It’s easily the sturdiest post light I’ve ever owned. The elegant design made wiring it straightforward, it was easy to mount and displayed exactly as I hoped, utilizing my E26 Edison bulb. My only regret was that I had to uninstall & return it due to my neighborhood’s HOA limitations on where I could place it. If you’re in the market for a well built post light, or seeking a cool housewarming gift for your friends, I couldn’t suggest this product more.

I got this Dusk to Dawn Outdoor Post Light because I was under the impression it was solar-powered. I couldâve sworn the description said solar, but once it arrived and I saw it wasnât, I double-checked the details, and sure enough, it clearly says not solar. Totally my bad for not paying closer attention! I really wanted a solar light because my hardwired post light has been blowing bulbs every few months, which is super frustrating. I figured switching to solar would solve that problem and be more stable.
This light does work fine, and I like the dusk-to-dawn feature, but after only two months, the light bulb blew again. I know itâs not the lightâs fault, itâs an electrical issue in the area because my neighbors deal with the same thing. The inconsistent electrical flow just makes it hard to keep bulbs alive for long! While this light is okay, I will be replacing it with a solar one eventually. If you donât have wild electrical fluctuations like us, this might work great for you, but for me, the search for a more reliable solution continues!

This is a a nice looking hardwired dusk to dawn outside post light. It is well-made and durable. The brightness will be determined by the wattage of light bulb that is installed, (no light bulb included with this light). Mounting hardware is included. There are 2 mounting options for this light; it includes a pier mount base and can also be mounted on a 3-inch outer diameter light pole. The light is waterproof and rust-resistant. It is easy to install and functions very well. At less than $44 at the time of this review, it is a good value for the money.
