When we rebuilt our deck the new posts were 4X4 (usual) with a composite sheath over them (to add color to match the new decking. This essentially made them 41/4 X 41/4. These lights adjusted to the unusual size, were easy to install, and now, nine months later still work well. I recommend these lights.

I thought a solar light post cap would look good on a 4×4 post I recently installed for my Hoselink hose reel. It’s a standard 4×4 post, covered by a Fiberon ArmorGuard PVC post sleeve purchased at the orange big box store. I had 4 requirements. White case, fit, high lumens, and multicolor, in that order. I prefer the modern look of a lower profile cap, but none matched the lumens this throws out. I was very pleased this fit the Fiberon ArmorGuard 4 in. x 4 post sleeve perfectly, with zero overhang and no need to use one of several adapters provided. There are only two modes to choose from, multi-color or warm white. I haven’t stayed up long enough to determine how long the light will stay on, but it’s past midnight as I write this and it’s still going as strong now as it was when it turned on just before dusk. The video I attached was captured with an iPhone, and although the light appears to flicker in the video, the flicker is absolutely not perceptible with the naked eye. Only thing they could have done better was to allow selection and display of a single color. All in all, pleased with the performance, fit and finish of this little light.

I bought a six pack of these 50 lumen post lights to replace 7 year old 20 lumen ones . I wanted something that would shed a little more light on the area and these ones do just that . Needed 4×4 and 4×6 solar lights for posts around deck. These are the only ones I could find for both. 4×6 is hard to find. So they’re more decorative than anything. They don’t put off much light. That’s fine though because we have party lights up as well. The 4×6 have an adapter fitting that works well, but it does not go over post. The 4×6 just sits on top and screws downward. The 4×4 do not fit snugly on the post. There’s a gap all the way around. So I had to screw a little in on both sides. The screws are short so it was tricky. Couldnt screw flush for fear of cracking plastic sides. Going to keep them for the look and feel lol.

Very nice bright solar lights, I give them 4 stars in place of 5 as one light will not shine in any mode other then warm. The one I dislike, so they are on my fence with all warm white and one yellowish in warm. Not liking that.

I just received them yesterday. Very easy to install. The holes were exactly where my old ones were. I need the white bright because it’s very dark in my back yard. I hate having to go back there coming home late. You never know what out there. Cheaper them replacing the batteries that you need for them.
