I was unsure about this item at first but am very pleased with it. Even with only partly sunny days and a very short charging period on the day it was installed, it lit right up. Thus far, the brightness is moderate but I think good for a solar light and it lasts a long time. The entire unit seems to be plastic which in this instance pleased me since I installed it on my shed. It went up easily with two included screws. An extra screw and mollies are included. I wouldn’t hesitate to give this a try. I’m happy with it.

There was no light to our back porch when we moved in, and it’s a brick house making it difficult to add a box to install one. This solar option saved me a lot of hassle. It looks great and is bright enough to light the area but not blind you. Installation was simple. The motion detection has just the right amount of sensitivity.
My only complaint, and this was my fault for not seeing it, is I missed the “ABS material” in the description. The whole housing is plastic and up-close looks fairly cheap. Not a deal breaker though, I just prefer metal.

Excellent selection for a fast response, motion dectecting solar light. I am impressed with not only its style,but it’s size,ease of installation and brightness level. We are expected to be part of a catastrophic flooding area. I’m so thankful that so far we have received less rain than expected. This light has arrived just in time as we have been asked to limit our power use as not to overburden the systems. This very bright light will allow me to be able to observe the areas in my yard that my cameras may have trouble seeing,as our yard light is electric and we have chosen to flip the breaker on it for now. This is also lighter in weight than expected and that made it easy to hang on an outbuilding. It could easily be moved anywhere and with the classic appearance it should blend with any exterior decor. Right now I not only really like it, I’m also thankful to have it

This light is just as bright as a hard wired light. The entire light is plastic, to include the clear “glass” that surrounds the light bulb. My only complaint is that there isn’t any “glass” on the bottom, under the light bulb. Would have preferred it be fully closed to keep bugs from moving in, which most certainly will happen since I live in Florida.
The motion sensors work great and the battery lasts all night even without continuous sunlight exposure during the day. The light also looks lovely, not noticeable that it’s plastic until holding and handling. Once it’s mounted, it looks like an expensive metal light fixture. Very easy to install, as long as you know how to use a drill. Hoping it will last in our Florida weather.

This lantern is solar and fits on any portion of your house. I like that I don’t need to have dedicated electrical wiring to attach the light and have it function. This makes the option of having lighting more viable to areas of the house or shed which may not be as accessible otherwise. The light is sufficient enough to use for the yard, and the fixture itself has a great, visually appealing design.

I really like this light. We don’t have electric in our detached garage, and I’ve wanted something out there to give us a little bit of added light and security at night. The corner of the garage is sometimes in the shade, but it gets a decent amount of sun, so I figured it would hopefully get enough light there. So far it has exceeded my expectations. I’m using this on Mode 1, which means it’s always on and gets brighter with motion. I was pleased it came on right away the first night even though it had only been installed for a couple hours of daylight. And it was still on the next morning when I left for work and it was still dark out, getting brighter as I passed it. The next couple of days here we’ve had a lot of rain and clouds, and to my absolute surprise it has continued to light at night, despite the weather. It must have stored enough solar power in two days to last through the days without sunshine.
Installation was a breeze. Marked the holes with a pencil and drilled pilot holes and then screwed it right in. It came with anchors but I didn’t need them and an extra screw.
On top of everything else, I really like how this looks on my garage!
