This is my second set of these and I love them. If you’re looking for something bright these are not for you. They are for ambience and they perform wonderfully at that. I have mine set to change colors randomly and they are very aesthetically pleasing

2 of the 8 lights do not work out of the box. I contacted the company and asked that the lights be replaced and they told me I bought them from npcpsolar.com and should contact them. The lights are not bright. They only serve a decorative purpose if you can get them to work. Don’t waste your money.

The color changing lights make for a great visual on your fence line. I wouldn’t say the lights are “durable”…they are made of a thin plastic. If you’re looking for something that illuminates your yard, it’s not these. I don’t even think they’d help light a walkway. They are primarily for aesthetics and in that regard, the colors add a lot to your backyard. These are great if you want to “pretty up” your yard but they will not help with lighting dark areas. Aesthetically speaking, I am very satisfied with them. I gave 4 stars due to the cheap plastic.

I ordered an 8 pack and there were only six in the box. Also broken little plastic pieces were in the box and when I inspected the lights, some of them had broken pieces coming off already.

I read some of the reviews, pro and con but decided to buy them no matter what and I’m glad I did. I used Alien Tape to secure them to my deck railing early in the day, an overcast day and I was afraid I wouldn’t see the lights that night. I was thankfully wrong. Bright as can be. Every light went on and actually stayed on until 5:45 am the next morning. Good price and so far, a great purchase.

Omg I was so excited when my lights arrived I wanted something solar for my fence so I didn’t need to connect anymore cords for Christmas outside. The lights are sturdy and solid and very easy to screw to the wood fence. I live in central California and even in the winter here should be enough sun to power the lights, but after the first day they are barely noticeable at night, and some lights come on and some don’t, even after reswitching them off and on again.
I imagine the top of the fence could be limiting Sun exposure, but ultimately I’m just disappointed overall since I wanted them as Christmas accents and they aren’t even visible. I will be moving them to the backyard for the spring, maybe they will work better there in full Sun.

I loved these little lights that promised to give either white or coloured light. We solar charged them as required. One light flickered a faint green for about 10 minutes and then it, like all the rest NEVER worked.
So sad. If you buy them you are taking a risk.

I have this system in place for several months now. It provides good light coverage for my backyard including special coverage for the holiday season, like this Christmas. I went from warm white light to colorful Christmas lights in about three minutes. I simply went around and moved the light tabs from steady white light to progressively dimming colored lights in all 3 minutes. And with the convenience of solar charging these lights would be up in less than 15 to 30 minutes. No wiring is required. The lights last through midnight before they start to fade and recharged the next day.

It’s literally only day 1 but I’m so in love with these lights. A good charge with full day of sunlight lasted over 12hrs from dusk till past dawn.
They were so reasonable that I was worried of the quality, but they look amazing. Love my new dramatic lighting. Although I’m dumb for assuming you could choose the light color. It’s just a switch that cycles thru all of the colors slowly. It’s pretty I’ll use it closer to the holidays.
I spaced them about 3ft apart and there’s plenty of light to see what my furry monsters are up to in the yard. Main reason for these is that my Wyze cam low light quality has gone way downhill super grainy and fuzzy. Pic shows how much difference these lights make for night vision.
3 pcs of Gorilla mounting tape secured it to the concrete wall easily. We’ll see how it holds up with time, but it was at least fine with all day direct sun on a +100° day
1 did arrive with a cracked solar panel so check them well before installing.

Don’t buy this. I bought those lights for my balcony at the beginning of summer. 2 months later, 3 lights stopped working and the rest were all rusty. I made a request to the vendor and they told me they were going to send new ones, and I never received them. Now, only 2 are still working and they are very low. I don’t recommend at all.
