- Post Cap Lights Solar Powered: This solar post caps fit exactly with 4×4 (actual size 3.5″x3.5″) wood post. Solar Powered deck post lights comes with a metal bracket, which also can install on 5X5 6X6 wood posts or platforms ( If your posts actual size larger than 3.5″, the wood will exposed, please buy with caution). I ordered about 15 of these lights and loved them until the film covering on the solar collection panel started peeling off – at first I thought that it was my error for not taking off a thin transparent protection cover – but that is not the case – I know this because I recently ordered another box of them and there is no removable covering. they are currently all working but not sure for how long without the film covering on the solar collection panel. I couldn’t get the photo to load on here but can send if needed.

we rebuilt our pool deck and needed new post lights. found these and they are easy to install, give off a good amount of light and last all thru the night time. sadly 2 have stopped working.

Quality is good. Install was easy. Only downside but not trolly a problem. They are bright at first for like the first hour. And then it appears they have a internal sensor that dims them down after like a hour to 50% power. So they never stay full brightness. But they will stay on and last the entire night.

Had to order a new set do to the face the protective covering for the solar collector. These were removed every fall and not reinstalled until the pool opened in May. As far as the light itself, they are very bright and very attritive. That is why we bought them again but this time with the four warrantee.

Nice and bright. Bought 4 more. I wish the “bracket” was a better design. I want the light to completely cover and encase the top of the post… use the provided bracket and the top of the post is open and unprotected from water.
