This is an adorable planter/ light! It was very simple to put together and looks just as good in person (if not better) as it does in the photos. You have the option of turning off the light completely which is done by quarter turning the top, it will give you access to the light bulb compartment and the switch. The light itself is dusk to dawn, so it will automatically turn off during the day, and turn on when it’s dark. The planter portion does have drainage at each corner, however there’s not a lot of drainage holes, so if be careful not to over water. I plan on getting another one to flank my garage. I can’t wait until the marigolds bloom in it!

Charming miniature light post planter. The planter comes disassembled and requires you to attach the post and light into the pot. The instructions do not explain, even though it’s very straightforward, how the post goes in. However, I was having a very difficult time getting the post to slide into the pot section of the planter. With a little persuasion I was able to assemble the planter.
The planter can be anchored to a wall or placed on the ground. The pot base is about 5-7 inches deep, 11inches wide. I am debating what plant to put in.
The light is not very bright, but does light up below where the plants are. I have a lot of solar lights and keep my yard bright through the night. The light stays on similar to the other lights around 5-7 hours then goes out.

This planter is beautiful, and I have the perfect spot for it in my front yard. I assembled it in about five minutes since it only required a few pieces to put together. The flowerpot section has drainage holes, which is a great feature.
While it isn’t large, it’s just the right size for decoration without being overly extravagant. The light came on immediately upon unboxing—no charging was needed. The plastic material it is made out of is strong and sturdy, no bending and can take a beating. I can’t wait to place it outside and fill it with flowers!

With a light fixture that looks just like the ones already on the front of our house, adding this delightful planter/light combination to our front porch was a no-brainer. The battery powered solar light comes on automatically at night and eliminates the need for a connection to an outside outlet. The planter size is just under a square foot, perfect for small flowers. A day of full sun keeps the light shining for most of the night. Highly recommended.
