The caps were easy to install and work great, putting off just the right amount of light. I did run into an issue with the hardware. The piece that mounts to the post has 4 screw holes on top, and 2 screw holes on the sides. The instructions show to use the holes on the top, which made sense on my 4×4 pressure treated posts. Based on the fact that there are 4 screw holes on the top and the instructions show to use those holes, you would think these would come with 4 screws for each light. That is not the case. For a 16 pack, I received enough screws for 9 lights. I requested additional screws but had to go through the return process. The second set of 16 lights came with enough screws for 8 lights. I am not sure why they would design something with 4 screw holes, expecting you to only use 2 of them. Using 4 definitely makes the light sit more securely than using 2. I could have easily gone to the hardware store to pick up more screws, but manufacturers shouldn’t be expecting every customer to do so.

I wait a couple days to write reviews in case my complaints about an item were the result of me being stupid, and, in this case, it’s a good thing I waited! NOTE: Remember to remove the little green tab that covers the light sensor.
Anyway, these caps were easy to install and fit perfectly on our wood 4×4 deck posts with the included adapter. Remove the adapter to use on plastic posts. And they look great, to boot!

The lights I purchased (24ea) all work. When I received the first eight, I took one to test how long it would last at night time. I was not disappointed. It worked all night long. My lights did not fully come with all the hardware (screws). However, if one uses two screws for each light, that is more than enough for attachment. They work great and look awesome.
