   This waterproof LED lamp has a case made of ABS, a safe type of plastic, and a bracket made of steel. It is rated at 50 watts. It is very big. Since it is heavy, to be safe, I attached it to a steel pole that I used to hang my hammock. I could hang it much higher than that but I did not want to bother my neighbors. It looks impressive and well-constructed. Its website claims its brightness is 3000 lumens. I own three spotlights also rated at 3000 lumens, made by a world-renowned and respectable company, and they are noticeable brighter than this lamp. Please do not misunderstand me; this LED lamp is very bright, but not as bright as the spotlights. I do not know if my remote control is defective or not, but to be able to command from the remote control, I had to be standing less than 8–10 feet away from it, and even at that distance, sometimes it worked sporadically. Further than that, the lamp will not be able to receive commands. Since the batteries included in this package look low quality, I replaced them with two new ones made by a popular and respectable company, but it still did not work. When I ordered this lamp, I thought that I could control it from the comfort of my home; it looks like I thought wrong. This remote control is probably designed to control the lamp, which is installed high above the ground, while standing right below it. If one stands more than 10 feet away, then it will not work most of the time.
