These aren’t the brightest, but they work well. The modes are pretty basic for the multicolor, no options to do just one color, but it will cycle through the various colors. If you want some lights that won’t completely illuminate an area, these are a great option. For instance, I’m using these fastened with velcro to the ceiling of my van I use for Uber, they are bright enough to create festive atmosphere without blinding me to the outside at night.

Only 3 out of the 4 sets worked. The 3 that do work are bright and fun for the yard. Easy to set up and charge well, even on the days that have more clouds. Disappointed that one does not work at all.

Colorful and pretty! You do need a sunny day to charge them fully. It rained all day yesterday and the lights didn’t come on last night at all, but today was sunny and they’re looking pretty happy right now!
These lights are probably not as bright as electric ones and I expected that, but solar products are improving in my opinion. I was pleasantly surprised by the brightness of these because they still make a nice visual impact. We’ve never put Christmas lights outside before because we don’t have an outdoor outlet on our house. These are a good solution for that! Happily ordered two more boxes of four which arrived today so we’ll continue decorating with them.

2 out of the four died after the first frost. The ones still working though have been beat up by mother nature and are still working just fine. Not sure whats going on there. There are brighter than I expected which was a huge relief.

These lights are so pretty! They are perfect to wrap around the trees in our yard and they look magical! My most favorite part is that it actually has nice and usable modes with gradual color change and dimmable options. The lights are nice and bright and the colors are vibrant. They last for a very long time and they recharge just fine throughout the day. I think these lights are very reasonably priced for the quality you’re getting and I definitely recommend them.

So these work great. On a full charge, they’re bright enough, long enough, and have great patterns.
The problem is the battery isn’t big enough to last all night unless you get a absolute full charge… Which is hard for this small of a solar panel to do during the winter where you don’t have direct sun light and you often times have cloud cover.
These would be great in the summer. But not so great for winter when we want them.
Also I figured out why some people aren’t able to get them to turn on automatically… If they ever die fully, they don’t come back on when fully charged… So you always have to pay attention.

Okay, so when I got the box from npcpsolar.com I couldn’t believe it held even one light set, much less four. The solar collector is tiny. The light strings were bunched together (attractively tho) and looked equally unimpressive. I thought there was no way I would be happy with this product and considered returning without even trying it. I set the units in a sunny window and waited for night to fall. The lights were amazingly bright so I strung a set on a small tree the next day. Wow. Seriously. Very bright and vibrant. The tiny collector generates enough power to keep the strings lighted most of the night – even with partial sun. The description doesn’t add one piece of information – the length from the collector to the beginning of the lights. It is about 5 feet. The only criticism I have is that the collector comes with a stake to push in the ground. Not practical due to snowfall – which is going to be a problem for any Christmas lighting in temperate zones. I had to wire the collectors to the tree branches. Otherwise, don’t let the size or packaging fool you. These are great little lights.
