   I have this mounted on a 9 foot pole at the end of my driveway. I have the motion sensor option picked currently and it is definitely BRIGHT when it picks up motion. The motion detection is great as it picked up our cat makes her nightly rounds but I also think it’s because I have it mounted at the recommended height. It does come with a remote control if I ever decide to change its settings without having to scale the pole. I really hope this light lasts a long time because so far it’s great.

   These lights are indeed bright. My only complaint is the post that is supposed to hold the head. In my opinion is not well manufactured and I’m worried it may bend or break.

   Wow! This is a serious light. My husband kept saying that the solar lights I was buying weren’t bright enough, so I got this one. It is really awesome and super bright. Very easy to install, we did the wall mount and it was a breeze since they give you the hardware. We did take our time determining the best location so it would get the most sun on the solar panel for charging since we like the option of full bright, but since there is the remote, we switch back and forth through the various settings. We primarily use the 30% steady to 100% for motion. It’s very sturdy and weighs quite a bit, so you need to use the bolts provided. It’s a really good size and provides ample light. Definitely recommend.

   This light is too bulky and I don’t think that for it’s size that it puts out enough lumens. the remote control is nice if I can get it to sync up with the device.

   Call me a skeptic, but I NEVER thought an outdoor solar powered LED light could light up the night to my satisfaction. Until NOW! The Iodoo 3600 lumen Solar Street Light has most assuredly proven me wrong! Its LEDs do NOT disappoint. Bright? That would be an understatement. Coverage? It has an unbelievably wide area of coverage and it’s even illumination across that area is as impressive as its brightness. This streetlight equivalent lamp has multiple mounting options as well as multiple operating modes. Personally, I like the limited intensity night mode of operation that increases to 100% when motion is detected. Rugged? This outdoor light is well built. It’s IP66 waterproof rating make it an ideal lighting solution for our wet mountain winters as well as the wind driven rains of our monsoon season, something present only in the somewhat arid high mountain mesas I call home. I won’t mention the blowing sand-size particles of decomposing granite but this light seems impervious to it, too. Did I mention that it’s bright? It is most definitely blinding, especially if you turn it on indoors (at night) after fully charging it in the brilliant Colorado sun. I was playing with its remote control (yes it comes with a remote control) and was looking directly into the panel when I inadvertently switched it on. Blinding it is. I don’t recommend looking into it at close range and certainly not on purpose. Suffice it to say that I’ve learned my lesson and the resulting photopsia afterimage of the LED array has faded. Lesson: DON’T look into the light! Installation? This lamp comes complete with mounting hardware for a variety of installations types. Make sure you have a drill handy, it makes installation much easier, not to mention considerably faster! Remote? Yep, it comes with a remote control, too. Trust me, depending on where you mount it, you’ll be happy that dragging out the ladder isn’t always necessary to adjust the lights settings. This lamp is a great addition to any spot in need of light (just remember it needs the sun to recharge and a full day to do it). Pay close attention to its placement outside to maximize sun exposure (and exposure time) and corresponding battery charge. My only reservation with this Iodoo product is its exposed PV panel on the lights top side. I think I’d feel a little better with a thin polycarbonate panel covering the exposed PV cell. Up where I live we have some ugly hail storms each summer. I may add this protective panel to ally my own fears about possible breakage from baseball sized pieces of falling ice. That’s it. This is a well built, highly functioning product with great features and a great price. It’s among the best outdoor solar lighting solution I’ve found. Personally, I plan to buy a few more!
