   I bought the package with 6 units. After 2 days the first unit failed. After 4 days all of them did not work anymore, despite being exposed to full sunshine for almost 10 hours. As all of them failed within a few days, I assume there is a basic flaw with this product. As they are mailed from China and not from npcpsolar.com, the cost and hassle for returning them to China would outweight any benefit. Be warned!

   Cons: works well only if exposed to direct sunlight. Otherwise it is a bit dim

   I’ll give them three stars as they work on a flat wall or fence. My fence is not flush with the light and is slightly stepped back from the edge where they mount. The light does NOT project well at all in this type of situation. If the wall were flush with where they mount all the way down they work great. A small area is like that on my fence and they look good projecting all the way down the fence to the ground. The other offset area it doesn’t project at all on the fence, just the small area where it mounts and on the ground. I would not half purchased these if I knew that upfront.

   Muy bonitas luces para decoración, son pequeñas pero se ven muy bien, se notan de buena calidad y la figura que proyectan muy bonita y elegante. Lo que no me gustó es que para apagarlas o cambiar la función a color se tienen que separar el plástico decorativo del panel solar y cuesta algo de trabajo y da miedo quebrar la pata de plástico que las sostiene. En general muy buen producto llevo una semana con ellas y todo bien espero duren mucho tiempo. Aunque son impermeables según la descripción yo planeo no exponerlas a lluvias fuertes. El instructivo dice que se puede cambiar la batería en caso de agotarse y eso es bueno para darles más vida cuando ya no retengan la carga.

   These solar lights are easy to install and pretty! They are well-made, bright, and sturdy. They charge with no problem during the day and are holding up to Florida rain.

   We have them along a wooden fence to help light up the backyard at night for our 3 dogs. It looks nice and is functional. I will definitely order more.

    Typically, when I order solar lights, they last for a few months but these have been working close to a year! They are the very best solar lights if you have wooden panels, like we have!!!! They are attractive at night! If I could give them 10 stars I would.

    These aren’t bright. They are easy to install. We have them around bottom of our deck. They give a soft glow about a foot down. Wish then were a bit brighter but it provides a nice accent. Was looking for something not too bright but that would help us find the dogs in the dark. This doesn’t do it. But nice landscape lighting

    Update: now that the fall days are shorter and greyer here in the Midwest, the lights aren’t getting enough sun to stay lit for as long as they did during the summer. But it’s not like I’m sitting outside right now anyway. They are so pretty to look at while they are lit. I do love them.

    Original: I live in a townhome with community space in the backyard. I bought some privacy planters and added these lights at the top for some evening light.

    I really love them! I love the warm star effect and that I don’t have to turn them on and off.

    I’ve been using them all summer without issue. I would recommend.
