The lights are a nice shade. They are extremely difficult to function. Instructions are practically non existent. The solar aspect isnt wonderful. Doesn’t really hold a good charge. The price is outstanding. The length is great. The first pack i got didn’t work and was missing parts but was quickly fixed. I gave 4 stars because for the price it was acceptable flaws. There are definitely areas that could use improvement but with improvement the price would increase and the price was my main reason for buying them. Along with basic functions

We really wanted to like these lights. The lights arrived and one string was great. The other had a cut in it. We had an event we were setting up for and so my husband who is handy repaired the electrical. We installed the lights into a complicated faux plant which took hours. Sadly, we didn’t check the remote controls and both remotes turned out to be totally non functioning (yes we took the plastic tab out). I had read a review of another person with whom the remotes did not work at all so I guess I was given a heads up.
On a positive note, the lights look great it is just we can’t use the remotes which is why we purchased these lights. Also, not nice that we were sold a cut string of lights. So if you choose to purchase, check the cords and remotes asap before installation. Give yourself time before an event so that you can send the product back.

Have had these 2 winters now and they work great and are still beautiful. VERY LONG! we purchased a double set and I’ve only needed to use one set so far for our long porch railings. The other set is on reserve. But I use the power box for cloudy days. I love how they are rechargeable from USB too.

These have been up in our trees for two years now and still work great! I love not having to plug in and unplug every day, or even take them down after the Christmas season! No extension cords to mess with! They are cheery sparkling in the summer, too.
