    I was blown away by how beautiful these lights were when I opened the box. They arrived in perfect condition. I received the “upgraded” model which hangs perfectly straight. When reading other reviews, I noticed this seemed to be an issue and I’m glad the company addressed it. I had some trouble with the bolt that screws into the bottom of the light. The bolt on both lights got stuck as if the hole hadn’t been bored correctly and required pliers to remove. The second time I got it and the finials fit fine. The lights came pre-charged and were throwing all these wonderful patterns around my room when they turned on. I would love to have a couple of these hanging from the ceiling in a corner of my house, but I’m unable to figure out how I would keep them charged. I placed them in a tree in my yard and they are as beautiful during the day as they are at night. The light goes all night and is still on in the wee hours of morning. The only drawback is the price. They are made of a cheap tin which may or may not stand up to the elements making them expensive for their size and quality.

    Easy to Assemble , very pretty design! I pulled it out the box screwed in the required screws that came with it and hung it up so get some light and turned it on in the evening. Does have an on and off switch.

    I want to give 5 stars so bad but I bought 2 of these lanterns, and only one works. I charge them both all day and one stays on for 2 minutes, and immediately shuts off.

    These are adorable lights on the outside but I’ve never had them light up well. I turned them off, let them charge fully for an entire day in the sun and then turned them on at dusk and the light never properly lights up. Such a disappointment because I have purchased others that are similar and they did just fine. Tried replacing the rechargeable battery and that did not help, either. Trying to figure out a way to use them and to light them up but short of a solar fairy light string in each one, not much else can be done.
