   Bought these for my backyard. However, the lights never seemed to stay on for more than an hour or so in the low power mode. The solar charging was never sufficient to charge the light for the entire night. However, when it turned on, the light was bright and warm. The chain linking feature is a really good idea. Had to return the item, but I assume that if the lights had come fully charged, they may have worked.

   I replaced previous 2 Panasonic solar lights after 2 years of service. They were about the same size, when one detected motion it and the other one went into bright mode for about 1 minute before reverting back to low light mode. I liked the linked mode feature on these and they look and feel well made. But, after letting them soak up the sun for 3-4 days I put them up and all of them looked good and the linked feature worked well. The problem is they didn’t stay on very long, maybe 3 hours. So, I turned all of them off and let them soak up 3-4 more days thinking this would surely charge the batteries enough to last most of the night, NO that didn’t work either. So, I took all of them down and I’m letting them charge on a bench facing the SUN directly for the next 3-4 days, if this doesn’t work I’ll be returning them. An even bigger problem is I gave them as Christmas gifts too, I now regret doing that! I would think a company that makes these would ensure they have quality batteries to install in them. Until they resolve the battery problem I would avoid purchasing from this company. Dated 01-04-2025

   This review is for the Home Zone Mesh Linkable Series 4-Pack Solar SMD LED Security Wall Pack Light, 800LM, Auto-Linking, 120°x26 ft Motion Detection, 3000L Warm White, 800 Lumens, Customizable 4-Channel Settings, Black. I needed something to be able to better see what my medium sized dog is up to in the yard at night. Although these lights have plastic housing, it feels sturdy to me. I like the option to have some or all the lights linked to go on at the same time when 1 motion is triggered. We tried it briefly and it worked OK, but decided we didn’t want any of the lights linked. PROS * rechargeable battery is removable and replaceable with a 3.7v18650 1500mAh lithium battery. * auto dusk to dawn * low brightness is sufficient for our needs * included mounting screws and plastic anchors * held charge for weeks (I fully charged the units, then put them back in the box til we decided where to place them. I thought they’d have to be recharged before they’d work again, but they did not.) CONS * can’t turn motion off and just run the light on low * can’t adjust the brightness so when motion turns on it’s not so bright * too bright for our needs when motion detected (If you sit out at night or have a pool or hot tub, it’s in your face bright and we have a decent sized back yard.) MEASUREMENTS * back – 7 1/8in long x 4in wide * sticks out from wall about 2.5in plus another 1/2in if you include the motion detector * solar panel area 5.5in x 2.5in I think for the current $51 price they are good. I just wish the motion could be turned off and/or there were low/medium/high brightness settings.

   I really like that the solar lights link up and have motion detection. They hold a decent charge and stay on well after I go to bed at night. It really makes a difference where you put the lights because you have to make sure that sunlight hits the panels properly. I’m very satisfied with the quality and installation was a breeze.

   These lights are well made and heavy duty. They have large charging surfaces. They charge well and shine for a long time.

   The motion sensor works well, and the light gets bright when motion is detected. These lights function as expected, and I appreciate not needing to run electricity to get landscape or security lighting.

   These are awesome. The side of the house is dark and being able to have solar lights for the area makes everything a lot more secure. I never realized how useful the meshing feature would be until I put them to use. Having one turn on causing the rest to also light up makes it easy to see the whole path from the beginning rather than waiting for them to light one by one.

   They seem to hold their charge well and I have not had any issues with battery life so far. They look nice and feel sturdy and high quality. Installation was easy, especially with them being solar so there is no cable management which I adore. All in all, I am very happy with it!

   If there was a minus star I would select it. These lights stayed on for about 3 hours the first night and now they don’t work at all. They are not worth your time putting them up and then having to take them down to return them and… I paid someone to put them up. Now I’ll have to pay them again, to remove them. I am very disappointed!

   I’ve been trying various solar solutions for my backyard. These were finally the one that worked. I spaced them a nice distance apart so that when they are meshed it lights up perfectly. Installation was a little tricky for me but once I got the first one figured out the rest were a snap! I placed mine in a well sun lite area so that they get the most sun during the day in order to last thru the night. That seems to work the best. I really like that these come as a set of 4 lights so making it a nice set for a gift or just to elevate your properties lighting.
