These worked great right out of the box. A little smaller than I’d pictured but my 2 year old Grandson just loved seeing them when he comes to visit! Solar panels even do well on cloudy days and have weathered the crazy COLD and storms in the northeast! We packed away Santa but left the snowman for a while! Much brighter than I’d expected !

The biggest gripe I have is that the solar panel only has an angle adjustment lacking orientation adjustment. The metal figure and glass piece constantly block the sunlight therefore limits the solar panel work efficiency.
