I have wanted to put a post type light in my front yard for a long time, but didn’t want to go through the hassle of running electric underground to power it. I was hesitant to try a solar light because I have a lot of trees in my yard and have never had much luck with solar powered lights. They either don’t get enough sun to power them or they work for a short time and then stop working, so although I really liked the looks of this light, I was hesitant to order it. Boy, am I glad I took a chance and ordered one! This light is beautiful! It is very bright, but the brightness can be easily controlled and changed with a REMOTE! I have never owned a solar light (or any outdoor light) that can be controlled with a remote. It requires very little sunlight to power it and works for a very long time when it is charged. The remote is small and somewhat lightweight, but it doesn’t need to hold up to rough use. I also like the fact that this light can be mounted on a pole or a 4×4 post. It is heavyweight and I have no doubt will hold up well even through the winter. The only thing I would change about this light is the instruction booklet says it has to be turned on manually and there is NO manual switch. I took it apart and looked it over thoroughly before I realized this. Overall, I am very pleased with this solar light and would definitely recommend it!
