   I needed to go with a solar sconce solution for one of our exterior doors and this one looked like it could fit the bill. Not only did it, but it exceeded my expectations! It’s bright and stays lit through the night. The solar panels are nicely incorporated onto the front and don’t stand out, giving it a hard-wired appearance. It gets about 4 hours of direct sunlight a day and has been working flawlessly for us. For the size and quality, the price is very reasonable. I’d absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for an attractive, solar sconce solution.

   This comes with the light, instructions for the remote and for mounting it, mounting screws, and remote control.
   Unlike other solar lights I have, this one has the solar charging panel on the side opposite the mounting bracket. The lights are on the other two sides, and it’s open in the middle so you can see through it. The light fixtures are mounted on the inside of the front and back, and when mounted, shine out both sides.
   To mount it, you unscrew the mounting plate on the side and screw it into the surface you’re using, then screw the light back onto the mounting plate. The screws are included.
   The remote turns it on and off, and also can set a countdown timer for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours.
   There’s also a dim and brighten button on the remote. Press for each step of bright or dimming you want.
   Because it’s mounted higher than a ground or post light, it brightens a larger area.

   This review is for the Solar Outdoor Wall Light, 20.5″ Exterior Lighting Fixture Waterproof Modern Garage Sconce, From the MVBT Store. Delivered on time, in perfect condition from npcpsolar.com. Needed night lighting for a shed build on the other side of our yard. We decided not to bring electrical at this time, and our contractor advised flood lighting from our house for the exterior or solar. We decided against Flood lighting as we liked our neighbors too much to shed light at night into their private windows. There are not many options for solar lighting that actually cast enough light to make it worth it. We decided these looked promising and decided to give them a chance. Our contractor installed them after painting the new shed, and advised were built better than any solar lights he had seen. They are very well built. All metal housing with a very large solar collection area. We live in the Pacific Northwest and the winters can be cold and rainy to snowy, we have had these up for two weeks now, and they are doing quite well in the rain and cold as it is the end of winter here now. They come with all necessary hardware, although I did not personally mount them to the wall – they look much easier than any actual wired light that I have wired in the past. They also have a remote – only works after dusk when dark that controls time to stay lit, dimmer or brighter and off and on. I am very happy with these lights – They stay on all night, and while not harshly lit they cast a very warm light which works for me. Highly recommend these lights for your own project. As a member of Vine, I get products at a reduced purchase price ( not completely free as we pay taxes ) in this case the MVBT store sent me one for evaluation and review purposes and I purchased one as I wanted a pair.

   This is a substantial, well made fixture. A few hours of sunlight will provide enough charge to operate at full brightness for the night. To install, screw the mounting bracket to the wall or post (four screws–included). The light fastens to the bracket with four (included) screws. The light can be set to operate for 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours (or “on” at night for as long as the battery lasts).

   The light is not “blinding” from any position, yet it produces a decent amount of light for a solar fixture. This is a quality fixture for any location that has adequate sun exposure.

   The solar-powered wall light works and arrived charged as it turned on when I covered the solar panel. I find the aluminum frame sturdy. It took me less than five minutes to install it with my power drill. I have the solar panel under a lot of sunlight during the day in South Florida, and the light stays on throughout the night. I can adjust the brightness and set the timer – 2, 4, 6 and 8 hours – with the included remote. The light does not protrude much from the wall. It has a low-profile appearance. Solar panel is about 20 x 4 inches. The light itself is about 20 5/8 inches in height, 4 3/8 inches in width and about 6 3/16 inches in depth. The coating on the aluminum shows no signs of deterioration after having it outside for about 4 weeks.

   These are nice lights: solid, powerful, heavy and attractive. They’re worth the premium they exact over normal wired lights. If you want a good looking, large outdoor sconce in a location without wiring, this is about as good as it gets.

   Why two stars, then, rather than five? Because I read this in the product title, “Solar Outdoor Wall Lights, 20.5″ Exterior Lighting Fixtures,” and I assumed I would receive plural lights in accord with the plural description.

   I’m tired of “Lights” and “Fixtures” being referred to in the plural when there’s only one light included. It’s dishonest advertising. There is no good reason for referring to a single light in the plural unless you intend to mislead those who, like me, will miss the little line in the “Technical Details” saying “Number of Light Sources: 1.”

   Fix the description to make clear that buyers only receive one light and I will give this light five stars. Until then I’m leaving it at two stars to warn those who may be misled as I was.

   Wow … this is a heavy light! Actually took 2 of us just to get it out of the box! Looks very nice but I will need to wait until my husband gets home to try to install it outside … I’m not able to do it by myself! Will update once it is on the wall and I can get more pictures.
