I really love these little lanterns. Given a little movement when hanging in a dark space gives you the feeling that the entire space is moving. They are really cool against a solid background like a house or a fence. They’re hanging on an upside down stump in the picture I attached. That’s when I fell in love with the effect of the pattern. Here’s my problem, and my only issue, frankly. The solar pucks are very sensitive, evidently. I had to change out the rechargeable batteries since the ones in there wouldn’t hold a charge. Not that uncommon in items that come with a rechargeable battery already installed. They worked fine for a while, and I would just move them from shady spots into the sunlight during the day so they could charge. Eventually one stopped working. I thought it was the rechargeable battery but it was not. 3 of them have died now and it appears that it’s a short in the components somewhere. It would be nice if the manufacturer would kindly send me 3 more since they are less than 1 year old. Seems like these should last longer. Hmmm. I do really love these lanterns and have since gifted a couple, but that was prior to me having these issues of the lights not working. Hope the gift recipients don’t experience the same. Very pretty pattern, however light isn’t strong enough to actually show on the ground. Lantern still is very pretty, just low light.
