I’ve tried various patio lights in the past, and I FINALLY have found one that is up to the job. Instead of flimsy plastic that are what I’ve had in the past, these are made of a sturdy metal, appear very durable and have three separate brightness settings ranging from just a soft glow to very bright, depending on your needs. In addition to solar charging, they have a USB charging option which I haven’t needed yet, but is a nice feature. The long term durability I can’t speak to as they are new, but hopefully they will hold up for several years, depending on how long the rechargeable batteries hold. Very, very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend them!

Was soll man dazu sagen: Die Lampe fühlt sich wertig an und macht ein angenehm warmweißes Licht. Wir hatten genau so etwas für laue Frühlingsabende auf dem Balkon gesucht. Nicht zu grell, eher dezent als Hintergund-/Ambientbeleuchtung. Hierfür finde ich sie gut geeignet.
Man muss lange drücken, damit sie an und aus geht. Das ist etwas nervig. Warum man die Stufen nicht einfach der Reihe nach “an – hell – heller – am hellsten – aus” durchschalten kann, erschließt sich mir nicht, aber so geht es auch. Ist jetzt nicht weiter schlimm. Die Leuchtdauer reicht dicke für mehrere Abende auf der Couch (je nach Helligkeitsstufe – wir nutzen immer nur die dunkelste Stufe, dann hat man nicht so viele Insekten und ein angenehmes Licht, bei dem man problemlos das ein oder andere Glas bei genügend Licht eingießen kann).
Wer also eine kabellose Lampe für den Balkon sucht, der ist hier gut aufgehoben. Mit dem Griff kann man sie auch mal mit in den Garten nehmen, oder am Pfeiler an einem Haken aufhängen. Laden funktioniert auch schnell und gut. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

I got this for my boyfriend and was surprised how nice the quality looks. Paid a bit more than others out there, but it looks extremely solid and not cheap at all. It’s stayed outside about a month too. The light is pretty impressive as you can see and lights up a whole table with the solar option on highest level. Good purchase for sure.

I ordered two of these lamps for use in a backyard patio structure. They charge in about seven hours and have a nice soft light, with three different intensity settings. I took off one star because one of the two lights came with a defective charging cord. (It’s a standard USB to micro-USB cord; I have several of them.)
