I was hoping to have these pucks in more structurally sound case. These are plastic and I was wanting something like aluminum so that they can withstand some pressure. I was going to put them in the driveway next to my bright white lights to add some effect other than bright white. These havea blue hue or glow to them and it is very nice, I did decide to put a couple of them around the pool deck but the black plastic case is a little ugly. But the lights stay bright and it does look good as an ambient light type thing, but they look like road pucks on the highway and they are black. Overall I am happy with them and just have to find a new purpose for them around the house as I can’t put them in the driveway because they would get crushed adn anymore around the pool would look awkward. Overall I would love these in a harder case but I will find something new for them.

I have a slightly elevated deck without a railing (it’s low enough that a railing is not required) and its nice to have these to mark the perimeter at night. They give a really nice indigo blue glow to the deck and are visible from quite a long distance. The led’s are focused with a strong lens that makes them into a very directional beam of light. This was sent to me as a Vine item and it is one of the few Vine products that I immediately bought more of. I laid out the pattern without any glue or screws and waited for darkness to adjust it. I suggest you do the same and see how your pattern looks before attaching it to anything. They come with screw holes (and screws) as well as some double sided tape. I will use screws, but typically replace “free” screws with better ones. After I saw how the light was almost like a laser, I spaced them out a bit further and changed the arrangement in the corners.
