   The lights are great! I purchased as a gift for my dad who wanted to mark the sides of his driveway to help with backing in at night. The they were fairly easy to install and stay lit almost all night (winter nights are longer). I’m taking away one star because water seeped in to a few of the lights but customer service was FANTASTIC. They immediately sent replacement lights and the new lights are working well.

   It’s hard to give this product any stars right now because one of the four did not work right out of the box. I can’t return the set because I had them for more than a month before taking them out of the box. The switch is turned on and I can make it work for a few seconds after charging the battery, but the battery runs down to zero volts within a minute. I just sent an e-mail to the seller’s support address, so we’ll see what happens. I’ll report back.

   Update: SIEDiNLAR got back to me right away and shipped out a replacement. Very responsive! The ones that I’ve installed work well, even though we’ve had mostly cloudy days since installation. Color is a bright, pure white. I hope the replacement works well. I plan to order a few rechargeable AAA batteries to have as spares, and to see if that’s all my failed unit needs. By the way, the instructions in the package need to be re-written in better English!

   Probably the best solar lights that I have purchased. They don’t throw out a huge amount of light but light up our way through the backyard nicely. Very solid construction that looks good during the day and night and still light up all night even after a cloudy day. Would highly recommend these solar lights.

    8/25/24 update – the seller sent me 4 new lights and all of them worked. I raised my rating to 4 stars because they replied quickly and made good on their offer to replace all 4 lights. I’m still not happy 3 out of 4 of the first set were DOA and if possible, I’d give 3.5 stars because it involved 75% defective lights and a time consuming replacement process. I just hope these last. Original review – 3 of 4 of these lights do not work despite 12 hours in direct sun. It’s hard to tell what position the “on/off” switch is set to which is made harder to see when they do t work. I put my hand over the lights per the directions and clicked the on/off switch after 12 hours in the sun. 3 lights still didn’t work. You cannot return these lights to npcpsolar.com if they are defective. You must go through the seller. I received a prompt reply from them with a promise to send me 4 lights that worked. Awaiting the new lights and testing them to see if they work . Regardless of outcome as to whether they refund my money or beat $30 out of me I’d never buy this product again. In the future, I’ll only order lights from seller that are npcpsolar.com returnable.
