   I was really impressed with these guys. First off, the construction is very solid feeling. Too often solar lights seem a bit flimsy. These seem like they can withstand some abuse. I also admit to not reading the description properly, as I was only looking for a blue light as shown in the pictures. But in reality, these can light up in a variety of colors, the typical Red Green Blue, and then several other colors and white. So quite versatile to achieve the look you want.

   I put mine on my entrance steps to my house, and despite being fairly shaded, and really mainly getting the sun in the morning, they light up bright and stay lit for a long time.

   The product included a number of attachments such as something to stick them in grass, some screws to attach them to wood. Honestly it was just a great package, the lights delivered more than expected, and the other items included would suit a variety of purposes.

   We got these lights primarily to mark the limits of an inconvenient planting area in our entryway driveway which often gets overrun by visitors at night. Some highlights: • Duration of light: we set these out on our patio right out of the box – no additional charging – and they stayed bright throughout the entire night – at least 12 hours. Impressive! • Materials. The body of each light is sturdy aluminum, not plastic. Very solid • Controls: On each light there is a control button with which you can select one of 4 modes and 9 colors. A long press on the control button turns the light on; subsequent presses cycle through the colors and modes, and another long press turns the light off. When turned off and then back on, the lights resume the previous mode / color setting. • Installation: These lights can be mounted on walls using the provided screws and anchors, or secured to the ground using the provided plastic stakes. Our approach is to just place them on the ground where desired. • Maintenance: there are no instructions for maintenance or changing any batteries. The lights seem pretty well sealed, so I didn’t attempt to open them to check out the battery arrangements. Although there are no documented instructions for maintenance and battery replacement, I expect these lights will serve us well for years based on our experience with a similar set that we have had for at least three years. Overall – I would highly recommend this well built, quality customizable light set.
