Overall Thoughts…I needed some low level lighting on my deck stairs and tried these two, described as: Solar, Outdoor and Waterproof for Fences and Decks. After charging them up, (I put them under a lamp) I turned them on and checked the operations of lighting them up and changing their color schemes. Everything work well and the light level was totally acceptable. The package arrived with necessary hardware and directions within it. I found it easily installed and seems so far to work well, dependent on how much sun shine hits it. Just enough light for a seven step deck staircase when using (2) one light on each side, mounted in the center of the staircase on the rail (see photos). They work well. I probably will get another set for my other stairs. 5 stars.
As an added edition to my earlier comments, I selected these solar lights again (for another set a stairs), and they seem fine. Once again, easy to install and a solid construction. The only drawback on these are that they are solar power driven and have a limited light time, so they do run down but its free energy from the sun. I give them 5 stars for what they are.

They seem to be working great after a month! Installation didn’t take too long, but the screws that it came with didn’t work for my fence, I had to use my own. That being said however, the lights themselves work wonderfully. Nice and bright, but not too bright for night time, just enough to light up my back patio at night. Durability wise, they’re holding up great to the weather! We’ve had plenty of snow, rain and wind, and the lights haven’t fallen off of their brackets, or broken. I really like these, and I’d love to buy some more for the other side of my fence after I finish my back garden boxes.

This is probably one of the best things I’ve gotten this year. My front stairs tend to be pretty dark at night so I wanted something to add some light but not be too clunky. You have the option to set it to warm light or a daylight mode. It is solar powered so you dont have to worry about changing it manually. Also it is the perfect size to put on wooden stair railing. I have gotten so many compliments on it and my neighbors are even looking into getting a set.

I bought these, mainly as a way to light the path along the side of my house at night. I what love about them is that they are solar panel and automatic. If I need to take the trash out at night, I don’t have to worry about tripping on things and it provides enough light for me to see my way.
I will admit that I don’t have them in the best position to charge all day. They probably only get a couple of hours of direct sunlight as they are in the shadow of my house. None the less, they do work for what I want them for.
If you need an outside light, these will work just fine.

We didn’t want a strong light that would annoy the neighbors. Just something bright enough to illuminate the garbage area and other dark spots on the side of the house. We are using the warm yellow. It was fairly easy to install. They look nice. And they just don’t get in the way of other things around the yard. We’ve had it up over a month and they come on nightly with just the amount of brightness we need to see what is going on around some dark spots. So for our purposes, these lights are working out great so far! And the value is pretty good to boot.
