Pros:
– Great quality. Metal is thick and feels durable. Item is heavy as well.
– I love the light bulb inside of it. Makes it feel more fancy.
– I took off the back hanging plate panel so I could utilize it on our outback patio table. I like how it turned out.
– There are three settings for the light and they all work perfectly. The sensor on the front has different colors so you know what setting its on.
– It comes with all the hardware you need for installation (other than a drill/screwdriver).
Cons:
– The screws and metal accessories might not last long in weather. I’ll report back if rust occurs.
– The glass panels slide up and down and are not secured inside of their pockets.
– While I like the item a lot, I’m not sure its worth the price point.

It has three lighting modes that I can change and set to your preference by pressing the button on the solar lamp; Mode 1 is my favorite; the light stays dim, then brightens when movement is detected. Mode 2 Light stays off and activates on by motion. Mode 3 the light stays on at half brightness until it runs out of power or until dawn. This light fixture is made with high-quality materials and is durable. Installation is easy, instructions are clear, and all necessary mounting accessories are included. Highly recommend having.

The battery failed after a week of use. I opened the unit and determined that the battery was totally open-circuited. I’m going to call this a random failure. It does call into question the quality of this component (an 18650 lithium-ion cell).
While it worked it was quite nice. The lamp is nearly all metal and glass, very little plastic. The motion detector worked well.

What can I not like about the product other than that I have to take down my old light to replace with this one? This light is solar powered so I do not have to pay for electricity when using this light and it is pretty bright for a solar light. Not reading under it bright, but I can see well for about 5 feet radius around the light in all directions. I like it.

This is a quality solar light that is easily installed and operated. I like the open-bottom design, as I’ve had outdoor lights that have filled with rainwater, so open bottom is a plus for me. My favorite feature, aside from this being a solar lamp and not needing (nor paying for) electricity, it the motion detection features. There are three settings, and one is advised to set this up in advance. The first setting turns the lamp on at a low setting, then turns the lamp up when motion is detected. At the second (my favorite) setting, the light remains off until motion is detected, at which time the light goes up on high, then goes off when there is no motion. The third setting is low-light, which stays on all night or until the battery runs out. As the location wherr I have mine installed receives sunlight only part of the day, I practice the most economical version, which is the second. This is a very practical device for a very practical price.

I can’t believe how bright & long this light lasts. I hung it up in a place that doesn’t get much sun but it still seems to be working great. My family keeps asking where the switch is. I have it on the regular continuous low setting & I got up at 4 am and it was so on.
My new house has an awesome outdoor patio but for some reason there was never power run for lights. It’s concrete so would be tough to add the wiring. So this light was a great alternative. I’m going to buy a 2nd for the other side. I purchased a 2 pack of another brand and they were tiny & cheap. This one is way better quality and normal size.
Also I found them easy to mount.

This solar light is really great. It is made of brushed metal and glass and includes a bulb and mounting hardware. It was really easy to install. I just mounted the metal bracket to the wall of my wooden shed with the provided screws. Then attached the light itself to the bracket with the small black screws. The light has three settings and the switch lights up to tell you what setting you have it turned to. It has one setting where it stays on dim and brightens due to motion. Then it has one setting where it is off and only comes on when activated by motion. Then the third setting is constantly bright and then off, of course. This is a really nice light especially if you are wanting to add some light without adding any wiring. This light fixture looks like it is wired in even though it isn’t. It has a discreet solar panel on the top and a motion sensor next to the switch. I’m so happy with this order. I highly recommend!!
