This is a unique solar wall lantern as it looks very modern, but offers a classic solution for motion detecting. With it being solar powered, you don’t have to sacrifice a wired on/off switch light for motion detection. You can just add another light somewhere else. It works well. Even after a cloudy day, it’s powering on and off with motion detection. I would suggest.

This is a HEAVY duty solar wall light. It is heavy. You add the crystal bubble glass to the light by removing four screws from the bottom plate and sliding the glass in, then reattaching the bottom plate. The color of the light is 4000K, and there is no adjustment. A lot of lights can be adjusted from Warm White to Cool White (3000K to 6000K), not this light. I could not find any information about the battery, or if the battery can be replaced. The bubble glass is not held tight and will possibly rattle in the wind? After charging for two days in the sun, I didn’t think the light was very bright.

This light is absolutely gorgeous! The center lens is a heavy solid block of glass with embedded bubbles that reflect the light like jewels. Unlike most solar charged lights, this one is actually quite bright. What you can’t see in the picture is that the bottom of the light has a square hole that matches up with the glass block. As a result, you not only get light radiating from the front and sides but you also get a very significant amount of light beaming down in a starlight pattern to light up the ground beneath it. You actually can use this as a porch light and it will give you useful illumination as well as looking beautiful. It has multiple settings, including continuous on once it gets dark, turning on only when there is motion, or, my favorite, 40% power on as soon as it gets dark, which then increases to 100% when the motion detector is triggered. This gives you the ability to have a decorative light on all night long and yet if you are walking up to your front door, you’ll get additional light to be able to open the door. This is a great option if you don’t want to bother wiring 110 V to an outdoor light. This item is every bit as attractive and functional as it looks in the ad.
