I haven’t actually mounted these on their posts yet, but the mounting hardware is nice. You mount a plate to the top of the post, then the lights lock into place. My deck posts have trimmed edges, so the lights that have screws on the side won’t work. I’ve had these out on my deck for several days now, and they charge fully with just the afternoon sun on them, and glow for several hours. The remote allows you to set a timer so they go off after a set amount of time, or you can set them to glow dusk to dawn. They can be set for cool, warm, or medium color, and are dimmable. I have them set at the lowest brightness, and when I go to bed at 2am (night shifter), they are still glowing. I’m very happy with these.

This post light is nice looking and easy to install. They come with a remote and 3 different shades of white color settings and brightness. They are taller and brighter than the other post lights I have purchased in the past. This is replacing one of them as shown.

We’ll see how durable these end up being, but first impressions are good. I installed these midday with the provided screws into the top of my 4″ posts easily. It was an on and off rain and sunshine day and didn’t expect the solar to collect much. But they were lite the first night. They come with a remote to adjust the temperature of the light and has a timer feature. The other lights in my yard are warm light so that’s what I set these to. They emit much more light than the previous ones I had, which was the hope. I don’t think they would look very nice on a post larger than four inches.

This light is constructed well. A plastic housing that doesn’t have any sharp edges. The one-off is covered with a rubber sleeve to keep out moisture which is very nice. It’s quite bright for its size and light weight. There are also a couple of screws included so you can mount the light. Check the size to see if it will work for you. I thought I would place them out on my entry post but way too small. But that’s okay because I put them in the rock garden so they make it beautiful at night. I reduced 1 star only because I thought that asthetically it could use a bit more of a base or ring. That would let the light cast further. But mechanically the light is very cool. It’s bright enough to read by so we could take it camping. Easy to operate and easy to carry or pack. And 2 lights at a great value. These lights stayed on for over 10 hours (then the sun started to rise so i stopped timing). Okay I’m going back to 5 stars.

Easy to install. Work just fine. They’re plastic, so they won’t look fancy. I put mine on the two posts holding my gate, so they’re a bit behind the scenes. But I like having that area lighted for guests.

The lights are very good. Great value for a well built product. The solar panel size and brightness is significantly better than comparable ones. The remote provides lots of customization from color temperature to brightness and multiple timers.
The one problem. The remote range is very short. You literally have to go to each light with the remote to turn on and off.
