Bought two 150 foot strings and double hung them to reduce the spacing to one and a half feet between bulbs and hence doubling the lighting. This works well for ambient lighting, but not for dining or task work.

Although the lights are working well so far, I had left both remotes on the grass in the sun while I was hanging the lights, when I finished hanging the lights, I went back to collect the remotes, and they were completely melted and almost unrecognizable. I don’t know what type of plastic they are made out of, but DO NOT leave them in the sun when outside. I now have no remotes for the lights.

I am so sad, i have been trying for almost 3 weeks to get them to turn on 🙁 and i have tried charging them and plugging them back and left the solar panel facing straight up in the middle of the yard, and yet nothing. I turned every bulb and made sure they are screwed correctly on and still nothing, i dont know what to do anymore, pressed the button on the baack as the instructions say and had 3 other people try to figure it out as well
