First off these are great solar lights. They are bright, last all night, and the flicker is just right. The misleading part is I ordered the old style and got the new improved style which as it turns out really doesn’t matter as they flicker the same. I wanted the color black and got chocolate brown, but at night you can’t tell the difference. Now the bad, the older version lights came with very sturdy metal stakes and poles. Now they are cheaply made with plastic stakes and poles. All most impossible to put in the ground so beware.Newhouse needs to go back to metal.

These lights are very nice. I ordered a set of four and then reordered another set. They add a nice soft glow to the camp fires at night. I broke a tip off one of the anchors (no fault but my own) I contacted customer service to order a replacement and received it within the week. No questions asked. Very nice to work with. Highly recommend these lights.

I have had these torches for not even a year and only 2 of them are still alive. They’re made of cheap plastic and it’s very hard to install them on the ground unless you dig a whole or the ground is super soft, otherwise you will end up breaking them. A week after putting them up one stopped working, the circuits inside are extremely fragile.
I guess you get what you pay for…
