   I have a small deck and outdoor walkway that I needed to be lit at night (briefly) for when I go outside or have visitors. I wanted solar power so I would not have to wire or have electrical costs. This solar light replaced a wired outdoor spotlight. I ordered one and was pleasantly surprised. I have since ordered two more. Easy to install. Instead of screws, I used heavy duty double-sided tape. Do whatever works for you.

   So the first one I got didn’t work after installation. Had plenty of sunshine all day. It worked when it arrived and worked for the first night but then stopped working. I luckily was able to return it and get a replacement. So far the replacement is working fine. It is bright enough for the area and the motion picked up fairly quickly. It’s been a few months so we will see if it lasts through the winter. Maybe the first one was just defective??

   This is one of those great buys, ever. This little motion detector is sooo bright it exceeds what I had expected. Also, it is so very sensitive it comes on if my tiny dog walks within its sight radius … and one can adjust the 3 panels of light to where one wants it to detect. I no longer have to remember to turn my porch lights on and off, and the solar aspect saves money!

   I was surprised at how solid and nice this product is for the price wow. Unfortunately I don’t have a spot that I thought I did to hang it up. I had assumed that there was a spot above the garage where I could post it. But instead my garage has a big overhang directly above it long story short a solar won’t work there. I already have a light in the back and so on. I had to sadly return it. I highly recommend this item.

   This is great for the front and backyard, especially the amount of coverage it gives. Sensitivity level, high for anything from a squirrel to a human. I will set it off which is wonderful.

    I use it for my dogs going out to potty or chasing a possum at night. So far works great. Love that it doesn’t have a long wire attached to it.
