These lights are nice, not too bright but great for ambiance light. Have these lights in our backyard entrance and with about 6 hours of decent sunlight these lights stays on all night. These frame of these lights are made out of thin sheet metal. Lights have 3 modes – motion detection light comes on then turns off, light on after sunset but dim and when person approaches then it goes bright and then dim again and the 3rd mode the light comes on after sun set and stays on till sun rises. Overall these lights are nice, no complaints.

What I like: these solar powered motion lights come in a matched set, are small and lightweight, and have three modes although we only use the ‘on-for-motion’ setting. The sensor seems to be aimed slightly downwards which helps with a mid-to-high height placement.
What could be better: the biggest con against this set is the extremely poor battery size. At 2200 mAh these lights don’t last very long, especially in colder weather. They are not very bright, which is ok for ambient lighting or entertainment lighting, but not so great as a motion-activated security light. The problem with hanging them slightly higher is the poor illumination of the ground and if you hang them low they look out of place and can be easily tampered with. They are lightweight but at the cost of thiner plastic and a small battery. The sensor seems to be easily triggered, which only degrades the small battery faster.
This would be a nice, albeit inexpensive, set if you just wanted a light set than came on at dusk and stayed lit for a few hours. For entertaining later into the night or as a security/ motion detector, this doesn’t give us the performance we would expect for the cost.

My current motion sensor light takes 4 C batteries. It has been burning through batteries faster & faster over the last few years, so I was excited by these being solar. They have 3 modes, including off until motion & dim until motion then bright. I love that you can easily switch between these modes.
I wish they were brighter. While useful to turn on at all when someone walks by, they aren’t helpful for trying to see anything more that a couple feet away. I definitely Wong hang them too high or they won’t illuminate the ground at all. They feel a little cheaply made & quite possibly are. Only 1 of the 2 worked upon opening. Both included bulbs worked & I made sure they were screwed in fully, as per their troubleshooting guide, but nothing worked to get the second one working. I’m doubting the working one will last a long time, but I’m going to hang it and see. If it lasts more than a few years, I’ll update this, but I have strong doubts that will be necessary. I don’t love them.
