We bought these for Halloween and have kept them up by the pool since they are so fun. They work really well with a very cool flame feature. There are 3 sides of solar panels on each stick so they do a great job absorbing light during the day and stay lit most of the night. They’ve worked well for about 5 months so far!

These solar powered “flame” lights provide excellent ambiance for your outdoor landscaping. Two years ago, I ordered my first set of 4. They can be placed directly on the ground or on the 12 inch stakes that are included. No batteries are needed. These lights are still just as vibrant as they were the first day I placed them by my pool 2 years ago. The solar panels are on 3 sides of the base so sunlight can be collected in the morning and in the afternoon. They stay “flaming” all night. I have ordered 3 additional sets and enjoy them on the deck as well as by the pool I plan to place them around the front of the house as part of the Halloween decorations. These are the best solar lights I’ve ever bought! We bought for Halloween and moved to back garden afterwards. They still light up after months and stay lit for hours. Absolutely love these for Halloween, they look wonderful once night falls (though not yellow at all, just red/orange) the flame really does flicker and move in a very realistic way (even with a kind of “spark” effect at the top, very cool!) I liked them so much I bought a second set. They have happily survived a huge rainstorm so seem sturdy enough, and have three solar panels on each so seem to charge well. All of mine worked straight out of the box. My only reservation would be that I wouldn’t leave them outside as regular decorations, in daylight they are very much “novelty” looking, bright orange and not particularly pretty, but for Halloween or any evening event they are fantastic and 100% recommended!
