The lights are heavy duty. They are very bright. Great for curb markers.

My husband ran over one of our red lights and needed a replacement. It works and looks nice in our driveway.

I live in a neighborhood that doesn’t have streetlights, is in a dark sky county, and wanted to have some unobtrusive lights to mark my driveway mostly for when I’m backing out. I’m an amateur astronomer and am very light conscious so I wanted something that provided just enough light for the task without unduly putting light where it wasn’t needed. I chose the red version of these path lights for this reason also. I wanted something durable as I had a different type of path marker that visitors had a tendancy to runover even in the daytime. These markers work great, providing enough light to be easily seen, but not more than needed for the task. No one has run over them yet, but it looks like they’ll be strong enough to survive.
