Finally placed the lights and they look beautiful. Very happy with their brightness. I placed 4 lights about 4feet from house along the wall. Very happy with how they look and how easy they were to set up and place.
Second Update, November 17, 2024: I charged them all day long, turned them back on, seven of the eight came on for several minutes and then shut off. One of them wouldn’t come on at all. Again, this is the second set that I purchased, the first set works perfectly so I’m sending this set back hoping that they are just defective and that the new set I receive work properly. Although after reading some of the negative reviews, apparently the battery is not replaceable, so plan on replacing these after about a year anyway. Wish I would’ve read the negative reviews about the battery first. I probably would have avoided this brand altogether. UPDATE: The first set that I purchased in April 2024 are great! They lasted through hurricane season, they charge up nicely, stay lit overnight. Couldn’t be happier with the first set. HOWEVER, I ordered a second set in November 2024 and placed directly across from the first set on my sidewalk (so same amount of sun all day), and this set is absolutely awful. I am going to try again to fully recharge them in the sun for a full eight hours. But the second set just doesn’t seem to want to stay on. Only three of the eight are properly, retain a charge and stay lit for longer than three or four minutes. Maybe I just got a bad set the second time around. I’ve only had them a few days, but so far so good. I think they look great. Sometimes when you get solar lighting, you might have one or two that doesn’t get quite enough sunlight or just doesn’t light for whatever reason. All of these light up every night and stay lit all night long. I’m in Florida so I’m just hoping they can stand up to our rainy season and God-awful heat and humidity.
We used round posts for our fence. I put this on the end post to mark the driveway so it didn’t get backed into. I love it. It will look better when I paint the posts black to match the lamp color. So far it stays lit all night. We used plumbing fixtures to secure it to the post top. I’ve always wanted a lamp post and now I have one.
This light is perfect for any outdoor area as it provides a stunning 130000 lumens of brightness and boy is it ever bright (I couldn't imagine anyone needing a brighter light lol). The light also features an IP67 waterproof rating which ensures that it can withstand any weather conditions. In addition to its great features, this street light is also incredibly easy to install. All that is required is some basic wiring and the mounting of pole brackets. It also comes with an easy to use remote control which makes changing the settings a breeze. The best part about this street light is that it runs on solar energy so you don't have to worry about expensive electricity bills. The solar panels are also highly efficient, so you can be sure that your light will remain well-lit during the night without having to constantly recharge them. Best feature - this light provides excellent illumination with minimal maintenance and installation effort. It's definitely a great investment!
Very easy to put together. BUT Be VERY CAREFUL the tubes are very fragile when attaching them to the lights, 2 of them broke when i was assembling them. I dont know if they were already broken because they were just in the big box and not packed individual in sets of 4 like the others. Lights are not that bright as other pictures. Maybe because my neighbor has a security light so that maybe why. But i like them. I had them for about a week now. No lighting issues so far.
Update on 9/22/24: Love these! Super easy assembly. The glass globe is a crackle glass and color changes every few seconds. they are very bright and long lasting even under cloudy conditions. When my flowers grow over them, they still catch the light enough to recharge. The aluminum posts are a bit thin, but hold up. These come in a pack of six. I can attest that they survive a super cold Wisconsin winter. They color change throughout the night. 2 of the bulbs just recently burned out and they aren’t replaceable, so I’ll want to buy new ones. These are absolutely worth the price in my opinion.
Works great for my application. This thing is bright, and recharges well even in the Northwest where the sun isn't always out. Writing this review after a few months in the winter and the thing seems the same as the day I installed it on my weather station. Would buy again, and might do just that in-fact...for my backyard.
Arrived in pair. Been a month: works great. nice bright light pattern & battery last the whole night. My dark hallway is now lightened up nicely. Seller is nice and responded quickly to my question. 5 🌟 well deserved.
They look pretty but it’s on the cheaper side. You might have to add a zip tie to hold them. This is the second string that falls. The lights are a little too heavy for the connection.
Almost a perfect design! It’s not my first solar light so I can spot certain flaws right away. The holes at the base is a big no-no, easy for bugs to get it. Durability: unfortunately I received product with rusty screws.
This I bought off npcpsolar.com is not bright enough. Like it is advertised.on npcpsolar.com . I do not recommend this light do not waste your money on this light it is junk and the remote control doesn’t work half of the time. The only thing I can say about this it ease to install. That way I can only give one star.
These small little triangular solar step lights are super easy to use and provide enough light to see steps in the dark. I got these step lights to light up the steps to my house because they can be hard to see at night. The lights are small and discreet. They can be placed on stairs, or you can use the provided double sided tape to stick them to a surface, or they also come with screws if you want to fasten them to the stairs or on a wall. The lights have just one button, on/off. Once you flip the switch you can basically set them and forget them. The solar panels soak up enough energy to power them through the evening and on through the night. When they detect motion, they instantly brighten to full power. After a couple minutes they dim to conserve power.
We bought 3 dozen a year ago for our privacy fence post. Love em. Over a year installed now and some burned dim or stopped coming on. Typically what stopped them from coming on was the on-off switch connection. I simply soldered two terminals together bypassing the switch to a constant on condition. This works fine sine the photo sensors turn them off during the day. I then used sandpaper to rough up the battery connections. The solar window became clouded, so a little bit of lacquer thinner cleaned them right up. After cleaning the solar window, I applied some wax to help protect them. Original batteries have held up well, I’ve only replace two. Great little light, with a little work you can keep them running for a long time. I also makes an X scribe bedside the battery cover to remind me I had shorted the battery switch if I ever have to work on them again.
Review for: TECHKO Outdoor Solar Wall Lights, Square Wall Sconce, Aluminum Metal Black, Modern Minimal Design Light Fixture, Waterproof IP65, Lights for Landscape, Yard, Exterior Lighting. This light looks nice and is the right size for what I wanted to do with it. It is metal, not plastic like a lot of others. It was easy to mount and comes with required screws and anchors. I wanted it to light my address block on the front of my house. It is not very bright even on high, but was good enough to light up my address, so it could be seen from the street. You can see in the picture the light is mounted just above the address block (white). You can't tell the LED brightness in the picture because my phone camera adjusted and makes it look like it is daylight. You can also see there are 4 LEDs, one at each corner. It is the same on the top. The problem with this light is it only lasts a few hours at a brightness that is useful. It is very dim after a few hours, maybe 3 hours. It doesn't light up the address for the entire night as I expected with it's 18650 battery. I have some 18650 flashlight, and they are bright and last a long time. The battery is sadly, not user replaceable. I did take the back off (attached with screws), and found the battery, but it is hard wired (soldered). It would have been nice if you could replace the battery. I may try to solder one of my 18650 batteries in to see if it works better. I have nothing to lose except a battery, since it is not useful as it is. And if I just remove it, there will be two holes in my bricks I will have to repair. I did wait for three nights to see if it did better after some days to charge, but it performed about the same each night. It was sunny with no clouds the last two day but still, it only lasted a few hours. To be fair, it doesn't get direct sun on the solar panel where I have it mounted, but it does get good light for a good portion of the day. If it requires direct sun, it would not be good for most applications.
So far so good. I installed this device about 2 weeks ago, and initially charged it according to the directions that came with it, which was about 6 full hours of Sunlight. I set it on Mode 1, which is dim all the time, and bright when something goes by. It has worked flawlessly. I have it mounted above the door on my shed, which is partially shaded during the day. No problem. It comes on at dusk, stays on all night and turns off at dawn. I think it's a very good product, seems to be well made, and the brightness on both levels is good. If you keep it on dim, it will work every night and will provide a good amount of light to see what's going on. It's a good value and easily installed. Happy I purchased this product!
