Really impressed with this solar-powered light! It beautifully illuminates my small trees and adds a charming glow to the backyard. The solar energy feature is a great plus, and it’s both eco-friendly and efficient. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to enhance their outdoor space!
The light is beautiful and looks great on top of our mailbox. It gives off just enough illumination to serve as a nice accent without blinding drivers, which I appreciate. However, assembly was a bit of a headache. It arrived partially assembled with vague and unclear instructions. I had to contact both npcpsolar.com and the seller just to figure out how to insert the glass panes and attach the solar top. To their credit, the seller did upload an installation video to the product page at my request, which helped a lot. Communication was a bit slow and not the friendliest, but I appreciated the effort to make things clearer. At this price point, I can’t complain too much compared to other solar pillar lights, but be warned—it’s not a simple out-of-the-box setup. It took me half a day to get it assembled and installed. That said, I love how it looks now that it’s up. It’s only been one night, so time will tell how well it holds up, but I’m happy with it so far.
We bought these for our 32' travel trailer. We have them positioned over both main doors, both storage hatch doors, and one on each of the front and back ends. Our trailer is new and has modern lighting features, but who wants to be the nuisance neighbor at the campground who leaves full exterior lighting on round the clock? We have the lights set to motion lighting and installed them using two heavy duty (wall art, velcro-style) command strips each. This makes them easy to take down for storage (we cover it in the winter) or road travel, and easy to reinstall at destinations or after storage (though I'm sure they would hold on the road, we don't want to risk it). These help to (1) Enhance security (or act as a deterrent / bring attention to) any weak points which may be used to break in or steal the trailer and / or it's contents (when parked at home, they also help to trigger the motion camera on our garage if attempts are made to gain access from the sides out of immediate camera view). (2) Prevent us from tripping over hookup connections in the dark (or our own feet if returning to a dark campsite after a few drinks!) (3) Enables ease of access to exterior equipment or features (such as key holes) in the dark. Anyhow, they are bright and work very reliably. We had them on for most of last summer, took them off before applying our cover for the winter (because there is no use for solar lighting that is covered up), then put them back up again at the start of this season. They are working just as well this year as they did last year (and - turned off - were still holding quite a bit of charge from about 5 months prior)! Would definitely buy these again!
I recently closed on a new home back in December 2024 and this is my first time having my own yard to stake slar powered lights. I wanted to start with a small set just like this 3 piece set. What drew me to this set is the glass used in the construction. I have seen so many with acrylic or see through plastic to house the lights. To me, they seem inferior and glass is a premium material. Packaging on these lights were excellent. The glass is substantial, and I am very happy with it. I wish the spikes were not plastic though. I may be looking for metal spikes as a replacement for its longevity. The light output is amazing and reacts well once dusk is upon it. The glass unit has a 4 inch opening and is also 4 inches tall. The solar panel is 2.5 inches squared. I plan on placing two of these solar lights on the front flower bed and the last one on my side flower bed by the rain spout. If all works well, I will buy at least 10 or more to light up my 3 car driveway. Great solid solar light so far - 5 Stars
So I like that these solar lights had the brighter lumens to shine on my flag overnight. However, those only work in the motion sensor mode and the mode that stays lite all night is much lower lumens. This would have been good to know before buying them as I might not have bought them for this purpose but maybe something else. Just in case you need the on all night kind of light this is not the one!
So we have tried a few things to light up the hot tub area and so far they have had questionable results so when this came up I figured we would give it a shot. -Everything came in very well packaged in great shape and accounted for. -The instructions were not too bad. A bit lacking but also had some bits that others fail to cover. On that note if you want to use the stake for the solar panel I attached a picture on how to do that. Total side note might just be me but the english translations to a bunch of these LED light instructions nowadays are quite amusing if you read them verbatim. Although it was super inclusive to have it in six different languages nonetheless. -Set up was very simple, love not having to worry about another extension cord and the whole solar powered. -The solar panel itself is very large and not dinky like others so it charges well even on less than sunny days. Not only is it larger than most of the motion lights we have, it seems higher quality. Like it will hold up to the weather better. -It does come with all the screws and brackets to mount everything which is very nice but I opted for zip ties for my situation. -The control box has a few gauges/lights on it that I find very helpful. One is a charging indicator to let you know it is charging. The other is the battery gauge to let you know the charge status of the battery. I wish other solar things had this because half the time I can’t tell if they are charging properly. -The lights themselves are very sturdy and well made compared to others we have tried. -They are pretty bright if you want them to be or not if you don’t. -The remote works very well so far, I am quite happy it uses (and came with) AAA batteries. As most of the LED light remotes have been coming with button batteries which are just a pain all the way around. Also the distance away you can be is quite a bit for a small remote like this, at least 30 ft and it still works perfectly. -So far all the functions on the remote work well and as intended. This is working out great for us to add a bit of color and light to our hot tub time.
I can’t speak for the quality (looks good) but I wanted to give people the heads up about the color. I ordered the oil rubbed bronze. In the picture, it looked a lot darker, almost black but it is in fact brown. Also, the interior is not gold but brown. So I’m exchanging these for the black and hoping for the best!
Five of the six worked fine, however as shown in the photo one had a defect in that a top left LED light did not light up. For the cost I expected all six to be functional. Consequently this one was not used.
I ordered these on a whim and I am so incredibly pleased. They were outside today and fully charged, this is what they look like tonight. They look SO realistic and are the coolest outdoor decor I’ve had in a long time. They are bright and stay bright, easy to operate. I am so impressed. Definitely a great find!!! I love them so much.
I wanted solar powered accent lighting on the front of my new shed build. These solar powered lights look great, are affordable and work beautifully. They install in minutes and I love that you can turn them on/off or have them come on in the evening with a low soft glow and then they trip into full power when the motion sensor is tripped. I also did NOT want overly bright lights on the front of the shed but rather accent like lighting and these fit the bill perfectly. The solar pads run the lights all night yet they shut off when in daylight which is perfect. All in all a great purchase that does everything I needed them to do.
This is a review of the Deepn 7000W Solar Parking Lot Light, with Remote Control. The model number is SC241. The ASIN (npcpsolar.com Standard Identification Number) is B0DJNXJKND. This is a true parking lot light. With 1008 type 5054 SMD* LEDs and 7000 watts generating 360000 lumens, this is an extremely bright light. The light emitted is a cool white 6500 Kelvin. When mounted at an installation height between 18-24 feet, the lighting range can reach 4800 sq. ft. The assembly is heavy-duty in every sense. It is more than 2 feet long and 1 foot wide, with a weight of over 8 lbs. The connecting rod is metal, rather than plastic. All the mounting hardware is metal, without the usual unreliable plastic anchors. Metal brackets are supplied for secure installation on a pole or a wall. No wiring is needed and there is no electric bill. As is true with all solar powered devices, the unit must be installed in direct sunlight in order to charge the internal battery. Before mounting the lamp out of reach, press the power button for a few seconds. This will allow the remote control to operate the various lighting modes: ON button sets the light at 100% brightness from dusk until dawn. OFF button turns the light off until the following evening. Brightness is adjustable for 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%. Timers can be set for 2,3,5,6 or 8 hours. The radar button is for the motion sensor mode. When the sensor detects activity, the light goes fully bright and stays that way as long as there is motion within range of the sensor. About 20 seconds after movement stops, the light returns to 30% brightness. The assembly can stay in place all year. It is rated IP66, meaning that it is waterproof, as well as frost and heat resistant. The large capacity 40000mAh battery is able to store enough energy to power the light after a few cloudy days. The User Guide is well-written and informative. The guide lists this model as number TW024. The manufacturer has faith in the high quality of their product by providing a 2 year warranty. Please note that there are differences in the claims on this page. In all cases, I have chosen to report the lower numbers. For example: 360,000 lumens vs 450,000 lumens 40000mAh vs 52000mAh battery capacity lighting range at 4800 square feet vs 6000 square feet * SMD is an abbreviation for surface mounted device. The 5054 SMDs are considerably larger than older style LEDs. SMDs generate higher lumens per watt. They emit a wide lighting range and produce less heat than older style LEDs.
I discovered solar lights years ago, and only had a set that lasted years, while others are just around a year, so when I saw these, I ordered. They arrived securely packaged and with all the necessary components for installation. I had a little difficulty with two of the tops not sliding into place as they should and there is not that much to hold on to without feeling the fragile nature of the plastic parts. The lights have some weight mainly due to the glass portions. There are two insulated switches under the solar top: one is for the channel selection and the other controls the brightness of the lumens. There are four channels, so you decide how you want them to respond; they can all be independent or group as many on whichever channel you prefer...but you must choose a channel since it is in the off channel position out of the box which I found out the hard way. The other switch is for brightness of the lumens, so you can choose between warm, bright, or daylight. If set on the same channel, these lights will communicate so if one light is triggered from the motion sensor then whichever lights are set on the same channel will come on as well. They remain in a dim state from dusk til dawn and once triggered will illuminate to the full brightness that you've set. They are not as sensitive to triggering as I had hoped since I had to be within a few feet for them to get bright and if I stood still they dimmed. They need at least 8 hours of sun a day for proper functioning and they automatically come on at dusk on dim. I like the look of these and I'm hoping they last a few years (warranty is for one year); however, one statement in the installation instructions states keep away from humid environment...if that's truly the case then they will be short lived since it's very humid where I live...time will tell.
Super easy to use. Love the fact it can be charged with an outlet if needed. There was one lightbulb that was burned out we'll need to swap out but everything else is great. Love the ambiance that it provides. To be clear it's not bright enough to read with but certainly pleasant.
Took me 20 seconds top for install each light!! Very easy to install! and I am telling you, it's BRIGHT with full power mode!! I like it!!!
I have always had solar lights around the perimeter of our patio. I decided to try these lights because they were taller than the ones I've had in the past and according to the description, would look like tiki lights. The lights are great. Easy to assemble...you can use two poles and they will be tall or one and they'll be shorter. (I used one). You put a stake in the ground and set the pole/light on it. The light IS really cool...it DOES look like a flickering flame. You press a button at the base of the light to turn it on and leave it on. They are not affected by rain. We had rain and wind one day and all six of the poles fell over and the plastic at the base of the poles cracked. I taped them with black tape, but am thinking about also replacing the stake in the ground with a longer metal pole. The light is top heavy and the stake is only about an inch or two tall, so in wind, it tips over. We live in the country and are not very protected from wind. So if wind isn't a problem this would be perfect for you. I also have a couple of the lights in flower planters which is really cool during the day and at night.
