0 stars!!!! I would NEVER buy this product again. The wiring is do cheap and filmsy i have no faith it will last the season, let alone years of use here. I kept every wire in it's pre-wrapped bundle, and still have about an hour worth of chasing down what goes where and how to untangle all the individual wires that should be at least shrink wrapped together. What a frustrating waste of time and money! Nothing pretty here. Don't do this to yourself.

I wasn’t sure how well the lights would work due to lack of reviews and how cheap they are. But, they work perfectly! Lights respond to every button on the remote. Solar panel does its charging business. I will say, they do not come on until it’s almost dark. So, if you hit the power button on the remote and the lights don’t turn on, then it might not be dark enough yet (or the solar panel isn’t on so it wasn’t charging). I have an other set coming in, hope it works just as well.

We installed a set of six GVShine solar spot lights in our natural pine area to uplight some of the small and medium size trees. We use a small rebar stake to create a hole in the hard rock surface, then seat the plastic spike with the light firmly in the ground. The lights are simple to use. We have experimented with the three brightness levels and find that low power and medium power are enough for our needs, so the lights will typically stay on longer into the night than when set to full power. We like the fact that these spotlights don't have a wide angle as some others we've installed. They aim light at the subject and focus more illumination where we want it. We have many solar lights in the gardens, and these seems to among the better ones in our experience. They're well built and should last a very long time. At this price point, they seem to be a good value.

8/25/24 update - the seller sent me 4 new lights and all of them worked. I raised my rating to 4 stars because they replied quickly and made good on their offer to replace all 4 lights. I’m still not happy 3 out of 4 of the first set were DOA and if possible, I’d give 3.5 stars because it involved 75% defective lights and a time consuming replacement process. I just hope these last. Original review - 3 of 4 of these lights do not work despite 12 hours in direct sun. It’s hard to tell what position the “on/off” switch is set to which is made harder to see when they do t work. I put my hand over the lights per the directions and clicked the on/off switch after 12 hours in the sun. 3 lights still didn’t work. You cannot return these lights to npcpsolar.com if they are defective. You must go through the seller. I received a prompt reply from them with a promise to send me 4 lights that worked. Awaiting the new lights and testing them to see if they work . Regardless of outcome as to whether they refund my money or beat $30 out of me I’d never buy this product again. In the future, I’ll only order lights from seller that are npcpsolar.com returnable.

I couldn’t be happier with these lights. Ohio weather can change on a dime but so far, with sunny or mostly sunny days these lights stay lit until dawn. I especially liked the fact I could adjust the height between 8” or 12”. I started them out lower at the bottom of my driveway and increased the height as the distance between my drive and my neighbor’s drive increased. They look fabulous and were easy to assemble and install. Several neighbors have complimented us on them. Just hit the “buy” button! I would be remiss if I failed to mention I contacted GardenBliss customer service for a small issue I had with a single light and they responded immediately to rectify the problem. That kind of customer service is hard to come by these days.

I love these lights! They are bright and I can see the drive way edges to back in at night. It helps me see the dark part of the walk way as well. Definitely worth the money! They didn’t light up the first night so I thought there was something wrong but then I pulled them up and I forgot to turn them on with the switch. Make sure you turn them on before installing them. LOL!

Easy to install.. i was a little hesitant because aome reviews mentioned some of the bulbs not working or going out. Mine have all worked and came with 2 extra bulbs. Theyre just the right amount of bright and the remote control is a nice touch. They dont automatically turn on when the sun goes down, you do have to turn them on with the control or the button on the panel.

Larger than expected! See my hand in one photo for scale. These have an internal battery than can be charged with USB C, or of course with the solar charger. They put off enough light to illuminate the ground, but not enough that you could use these as a sole source of lighting for a patio. The motion sensor is nice, but I prefer to leave them on all the time. Overall pleased

We wanted something to light up the back of the house near our shed and just one of these lights is bright enough to do just that. It worked right out of the box, but we sat it out in the sun all day to fully charge it. We nearly blinded ourselves when it came on at night. The motion sensor picks up movement from across the yard, which works great for our shed area because we come around the back of the house from the opposite side of the yard and it senses we're there and turns on to help light our way. It stays on long enough for us to unlock the shed, go inside and turn on the light. We hung it on the house with industrial Velcro so we didn't have to drill holes in the house. Time will tell if that holds up or not in the Arizona heat. We plan to install another one on the opposite corner of the house so together they'll light up our entire backyard (it's not a huge yard). The photo I included shows how bright it is at night with just our neighbor's string of Edison style bulbs lighting up the side of our house. Update... One of the lights stopped working after a year of use. We took it down and it started working again. We hung it back up and it stopped working. We have no idea why hanging it on the house would make it stop working. We just leave it on the ground by the patio door and it gives us a little light near our feet. It still gets sunlight to charge by. That has worked out okay for us so far.

I placed these on top of the cinder block wall beside my house. That area had no lighting and these were perfect. They get plenty of sun there so they work just fine. I used some gorilla double sided tape to attach them.

This is a big wide but short light. I was going to put it up to light up my driveway but after testing to the brightness was not there to cover a larger area. This will work nice to put over or to light up a door entrance. All the hardware needed to mount it is included to a wall or pole. The pole slides inside the light unit and has a set hole to hold it in place. The pole is short, but you could add a hole to make it a shorter distance but doubt you would find a reason to. Gave it 3 stars because I'm disappointed in the brightness and area it illuminated.

[UPDATED] After I posted this, my wife pointed out that our neighbors have walkway lights that *are* shining, yet it's winter over their yard too. I did a couple more tests, moving some of these lamps into more direct sunlight and checking them at the same time as our neighbor's lights. Theirs work. Ours don't. So, it's not because of winter. They simply don't work. Sometimes you see something and think "that would be nice to have" and make an impulsive decision. In general though, it's good to pause and to ask "but would it be nice to have NOW?" I ordered these lawn lights because they look modern and I think they'd be nice to illuminate the walk and steps to our front door. But what I didn't consider is that it's early February, the middle of winter, there's virtually no sunlight during the day and the ground is frozen solid. More on this later. Although the listing claims that written instructions are included, I couldn't find any in the box. However, before I reached for my phone to dig up the installation video, I examined the pieces for about 5 seconds and figured out how they go together. So that wasn't much of a problem. The small box has two types of individually wrapped pieces, 12 hollow rods and 12 lights. The hollow rods have a plastic insert at one end; you're supposed to take it out, flip it, and then hold the narrowed end that was inside to push the plastic stake into the rod, as the pictures show. Takes about 10 seconds per piece. Picture shows what I mean. Because I foolishly bought these in winter and the ground outside is frozen, the plastic spike won't penetrate and would break if I tried. However I stuck a few into the snow, to see how well they can pick up light during the dim winter days. For the most part, the answer is they don't. At all. But given how little direct sunlight they're getting, it's not a fair test! I will update this review in a few months, when they can receive enough sunlight for a fair test, and report how long they stay lit and whether they all work properly. Aside from that, they seem well constructed and are easy to assemble. Looking forward to lining my walk with the set once the ground thaws. [UPDATE: No, I don't.]

Have had it since November and lights up everyday from solar despite winter days where sun might not be as bright. Wanted solar bc it would have cost more to install the new fence and entrance with having to run electrical through there. I just wish it was a tad bit brighter, but good enough and looks good on top of the two gate pillars.

Not only do the lights still work, they stayed in place on the bridge. This is after removing several trees that were on Top of the bridge and lights. The trees anchored the bridge in place while the creek crested the banks covering everything you see in this picture. Hurricane Helene couldn’t take these suckers out. All four red lights charge during the day and stay lit all night! Henry showing them off before hurricane Helene when our forest was whole..

This is the second one of these lights that I have purchased and I am very happy with it so far. The first one was purchased and installed in July of this year and has worked perfectly since. I needed a light under my carport and this product serves the purpose. I was able to install the solar collector outside of the carport on top of some lattice work so it gets sunlight. In this case the 16 ft. cord was plenty for my application. I would like the option for a longer cord or cord extension for another location at my house at a later date.
